  1. Not a Taylor fan? LOCK IT UP!!!
  2. Looking at you, Brandon Cavanaugh. I was over at HM reading some of RR's posts. I'm sure that many on here are aware that Brandon Cavanaugh is FLU, but I had no idea. Wow what a dingle berry. HM? RR? Brandon Cavanaugh? But, I know who FLU is. Dingle Berry indeed.
  3. They are? I thought I answered your question. I said you never know, but I think it's very unfavorable that he would be able to qualify at Nebraska if he can't at Alabama. I remember discussions about recruits not being able to qualify at Nebraska academically and then going to consequently the SEC. Wasn't Hooks or some DT were recruiting this year the case? Either way, I can only imagine Nebraska's standards are harder than Alabama. And if our coaches no longer want him as some have said already then this really is a "moo" point.
  4. any reason why? just academics? We probably took the breakup a little hard. If you can't qualify academically at Alabama, you sure aren't going to qualify at Nebraska. Why? Well you never know I guess. But I think the odds would be very unfavorable.
  5. My apologies everyone... Moot.. a moot point. Carry on.

As far as I know, once he flipped to BAMA the staff had very little contact with him - comes down to Bo and culture. Regardless if that's the case, how in the world would he qualify at Nebraska if he can't for Alabama. Just saying. It's a mute point.

  8. I'd like to see a corner, a DE, and an O-linemen recruit round this class off at 25

I thought it was good for a first episode. Hopefully, they'll have a lot more heart break as it goes on though.

  10. Not worried.. and as for Kentucky. Stoops and Marrow will both be looking for new jobs in 4 years.
  11. We were fine on the offensive side of the ball this last year, even without Rex. Heard only got a hand full of carries and I think you can easily make the case that Cross and even King Frazier would get just as many carries as Heard would have this next year. I'm not worried with the guys we have and the guys we have coming in.
  12. Agreed couldn't have said it better myself. +1 I think he is a fine RB, but am I the only one who thought he ran to upright? Also, he was incredibly fast, but I didn't notice must ability to be elusive. He is gonna be good, but give me Abdullah every day of the week.... I agree on his running style. He's cut and go, but if there is contact or a need for a little wiggle, he lacks a bit... He's good, but IMO he's not going to beat out Abdullah.
  13. Nice to see much of HuskerBoard on meltdown mode.

  14. While I do think his pro potential is better at DB than RB, he is a number 1 RB at a big name school. Guy was an elite running back. Vision was spectacular with great burst. If AG ran North/south like Heard, he'd win a heisman. 5'10" and a buck 80 with straight ahead speed ain't good enough. He lacks a bit on cutting and picking up yards after contact.
  15. He averaged like 7 ypc...if I'm not mistaken Okay... and...
  16. I always thought Heard would have been a better DB than a RB. I think he can be a starter at a really low profile D1 school or the D2 schools, but I never thought he was more than a number 2 or 3 guy at the big time places. If he wants to play pro, he needs to play D.
  17. And the thing is our offense was atrocious that year and we still put 33 on them. This should be a no brainier on where to go.
  18. I'm going to be honest. The longer this whole thing went on the more it seemed like he was a little prima donna. He's a good player, but I'm not losing sleep over this kid.
  19. I kind of understand the McWilson situation, and honestly I'm not worried about losing him.. but this game that Walker is playing... Come on Man! Don't play our coaches with "I'm fully committed to you" twice, and then say I'm still deciding. Just be honest with our coaches.
