I haven't read this yet. But, from past Intercept articles I've read, I expect it to be very well done.

OH MY f#&%ING GOD!!!! Literally, sometimes I feel like we are all in some kind of 80s comedy movie.

The problem is, the protesters are protesting the exact people who are put in place to keep the protesters from doing something illegal. That's a very bad situation. In a perfect world, you would have the protesters and take the police out of the equation. But, that doesn't work because there does have to be some form of order in case something legitimately has to be dealt with. The next option would be the National Guard or Military and send the police home and I don't like those options either.

WTF is going on?? It's like many police across the country are just fed up about people protesting against them and so they are just going to take their anger out on anyone who is vulnerable. I honestly don't think I have ever seen anything like this in my lifetime. THANK GOD we have cell phones with cameras. Personally, I believe the police are acting out this way because they know the President and the justice department support them, promote the violence and won't do anything about it.

I'm very curious about this. I keep seeing/hearing comments that infection rates are going up, but if you look at Worldometer, it's been going steadily down. The deaths have dropped off to almost 50% of what they were. My wife and I just talked about this at noon. We feel we will start living our lives fairly normally, but we still don't have any desire to go some place with big crowds. Last night we were at some friends house having a few beers....but, we don't have a desire to go to a big concert or Husker football game type of event right now. Golf league is starting tonight. There are a few restrictions put in place, but others they said they were going to do have been eliminated. I'm fine. I guess I have the feeling that so many people are saying "f#&% it" and forgetting everything, that it's sort of put up or shut up time. It's either going to fade off like some people think, or it's going to come back and slap us in the face really hard. I hope it fades, but then, I guess we will know.

WTF??? Be more honest with the concerns they might hold internally and have the courage to speak up? And....you're just getting that feeling NOW!!!!?????
