Well, he did repeal legislation Obama put in place that makes it harder for people with mental illnesses to get guns. So, there's that. It's somewhat like healthcare. Definitely one of these moments in history.... From my view, one of two things is happening: 1) Trump felt emboldened because of the elections and thought this is his best time to get rid of the pathetic little man between him and firing Mueller. or.... 2) Trump knows Mueller is writing his final report and he knows what is in it and is trying his best to get the entire thing shut down before it becomes public. The backlash or legal problems with firing Sessions is no where close to as bad as what is in the report if it becomes public. It's time to sit back and see which it is.

I've had this thought......and know it's a pretty far fetched thought..... Imagine if Whitaker gets in with all intentions of firing Mueller. He's said all the right things to kiss Trump's a$$ and trash the investigation to get the appointment.....only to get in the position, see the evidence Mueller has and says........."Holy s#!t!!!!!! I can't fire him!!!!!!"

LOL....this is an interesting recruiting thread to read through. Good example of why nobody should get all worked up one way or the other on what an 18 year old kid decides to do. 4* (almost 5 star) kid commits two years before he graduates. I think the frustration was that we are now seeing what he was seeing in practice....but wasn't showing up in games. He said it multiple times....fans weren't seeing what he was seeing in practice. Now, we are seeing it too and it's a relief for him.

I live in a high percentage hispanic population area. I honestly don't know one kid who doesn't know english and any adults who don't know any english. Some, a little and some very fluent. But, they all learn some. However, I know some people who, if they hear someone speaking spanish in public, they get pissed. I always ask them, when you vacation in Mexico and are out with your friends, do you speak spanish? They usually just storm off or change the subject.

Ric has stated that you should not be allowed to emigrate here unless you already know English. I know my friend’s mom didn’t and pretty sure my ancestors didn’t. They all came from s#!thole countries....well....other than being European. my other side came from Germany before the war. My geandpsrents would take food to prisoners around Hastings and my grandfather would sit around talking (in German)shooting the s#!t with them. My mom and dad (and me) should be deported according to Ric.

This is a very interesting topic for me. If i were to agree with Ric, I would have to say a friend of mine’s mom should have never been able to immigrate yo America. She came from from a country that was in shambles, had just killed over 500,000 Americans, sponsored an attack on America and didn’t speak English. She was was a teenager when she emigrated to America from Germany after WWII. My own ancestors emigrated from Europe through Canada and would be considered illegal aliens today. Thus country was was built on people coming here from horrible situations to make a better life. There are lots of small towns across America where European languages are on signs and othe countries flags are proudly shown as their heritage. That doesn’t mean that hate America or aren’t proud to be American. Also (a pet peeve of mine) people are upset these people want to “come to America and change it”. This has been happening ever since Columbus landed. You dont think the Germans, Swedes, Irish, Italians changed America when they came? i know your answers to these. Just venting for discussion sake.

It’s been shown over and over that Fox News totally makes up crap or promotes conspiracy theories about democrats on a very regular basis.

You act like those Fox personalities don’t actively campaign for republicans every day.

We’ll survive, but there will be a time when a lot of republicans will look back at this era and either not want to talk about it or act like they don’t remember.
