  1. Well, I've been trying to figure out why these are coming up right now. This is the most logical explanation. This guy acts so guilty it's amazing.
  2. Especially if it’s for a white collar crime.
  3. Industries should have input in these issues. A prime example is the cattle industry having input into regulations around the new E-Logs for truckers. Government comes out with these great ideas for E-Logs and think it should apply to every truck on the road. But, the cattle industry came out with legitimate concerns that you can't have a load of cattle on a truck and the truck automatically not be able to be driven because of the E-Log. You would have cattle dying on these trucks all over the place. It finally got changed, but, it was a real battle in the industry because there were people in government that had the attitude of....well....deal with it.
  4. And, the only reason they won that championship is by cheating and paying a QBs family $300,000 to come play. Take that little fact away and they aren't much different of a program than MSU.
  5. Ok....I understand what this tweet is saying. But, Kim has literally made millions by purposely sensationalizing her ass. This isn’t some random professional woman who the paper decided to say this about.
  6. And, let's remember, that this type of stuff happens. So, if you are going to deport people who are just arrested before and before trial, you are going to be potentially tearing families apart on false charges.
  7. Birthday - "Groovin" The Young Rascals 14th - "Keep On Loving You" REO Speed Wagon. Interesting. I'm kind of a groovy guy and I hope to keep on loving my wife. So....
  8. Here's the fly in the ointment on this issue. Let's say someone gets arrested for assault who is found to be an illegal immigrant. Do you deport them immediately or do you wait till after trial to prove they are guilty? Remember, in this country, you are innocent to proven guilty. Now, if you choose to wait till after trial, do you allow for them to be let out on bail like any other accused person in a similar type situation? If you say no, where are we going to house them? If you say yes, then, you are allowing an accused violent illegal immigrant back out on the streets. How are you going to prove to these people that they can trust what we say? We already have screwed over people who came out of the shadows as DACA what Trump has done. Do you think those people are going to trust the US government again? IF we put something like this in place, the process needs to be done in less than 2 years. Here's why. Let's say we have a President and congress in place that supports this. That doesn't mean in 2 years we will. So, these people will need to be able to come out of the shadows and become citizens in the amount of time it would take for the people in government to change their minds.
  9. I see no indication with the information we have that this woman or child were discriminated against.
  10. The kid was half black and the mom was white. The mom was the one being suspected of a possible crime, not the partially black kid. I fail to see how the partially black kid was harmed in any way from this. So, is this discrimination against a white woman?
  11. This was probably a stupid way to handle it and it obviously could have been done better. However, I fail to see how this is discrimination or racial bias. The employee obviously had a reason to believe the kid may not have been hers. I have no problem with them checking some way.
