  1. Ok....I’ve raised and trained horses most of my life. That video of of him riding up on the horse to vote is pathetic. The horse is a ugly friggen knot head and he has no clue how to ride it with a cowboy wantabe hat on. Typical politician trying to look like something he is not.
  2. LOL. we live in a strange strange time to be alive.
  3. Thats easy for them to say when they came to a dominant program and very seldom had a coaching change even with the assistants.
  4. Something to understand in all of this is that everyone would love a player that can have a 65% completion percentage while making great decisions in the passing game with the running ability of Eric Crouch. Fact is, those are EXTREMELY rare....next to nonexistent.....and this offense can be very effective without that type of player. So.....if you have to choose, it's best to choose a QB who is strong in passing and adequately talented with enough mobility to get the job done with his legs. Nobody is saying they don't want a QB that can take it to the house....there is just more important qualities in a QB.
  5. I think this will continue as long as the TV money keeps flowing into these programs. Right now, the Big Ten programs have the money to spend on really good coaches.
  6. Good post. Decision making, accurate passing and being able to distribute the ball to the right playmakers is still way more important than having a QB that can out run everyone on the field. The offense's design opens up space for many of the QB runs. They don't need to be another RB. I agree, the QB needs to be able to make a defense pay for not respecting what he can do with his legs. BUT....again...that doesn't take a Tmart or Crouch type of a player. On a completely different thought looking at these. I always laugh/roll my eyes when fans say that Solich way over used the QB run and that was what was wrong with his offenses. Look at the rushing attempts of Frost, Crouch and Lord. Lord is the same as Frost and Crouch only ran two more times per game. One of the biggest myths in Husker Nation. That trend was started before Solich took over as HC and play calling.
  7. Win at least maybe 8-9 games next year but be competitive and look competent on the field. From there, improve and move the program forward. Ultimately, playing in CCGs and winning some. Hopefully that doesn't take more than 3-4 years to accomplish otherwise the natives will start getting restless again. Ultimately, make the Huskers once again a program that most other programs dread playing because they know they are going to get their asses kicked. Coach and manage the program in a manner that represents the school and state well. Help develop relationships and HS football programs throughout the state so local HS kids have the opportunity to help make the Huskers a dominant program. Kick Iowa's ass back to the also-ran program they were before. Beat them so bad every year that everyone just knows Wisconsin is going to be our toughest game in the west and Iowa is just the game at the end of the year we play to end a good season.
  8. Well, that's because all those "liberals" support those gay preverts.....at least that's what the voters hear from the poolpit.
  9. This staff has obviously been doing their work and I’m impressed with the commits they have received. At at this point, however, it’s a matter of having to trust the staff on evaluations. I’m excited to trust them. Some (key word “some”) of these recruits are are not highly rated nor do they have offers from top programs. I trust the the staff that these are good players that fit their systems. I hope they are right.
  10. When you’re faking it.....it’s awkward.
  11. WOW...wow....wow.... How much does Trump love his daughter? My God why do people cheer this piece of crap on???
  12. Funny thing. I wanted to read more on the letter from the Diplomat. So, I googled "US Diplomat Letter". I had a number of well known media outlets come up. But....I noticed one was missing. Foxnews. I can't find it anywhere on their front page.
  13. I may be thinking of a different play. Wasn't the defender froze more by a fake pitch than a sharp cut?
  14. Dude....you were just flat out wrong with your assessment of what is needed to make this offense work (a qb that can take it to the house every time). Sorry to burst your bubble. Nobody knows if Gebbia is going to be a stud in this or not or if he will ever play for Frost. But, his stats in HS and what we have seen in the spring game matched up with what the UCF QBs have done, are evidence that he has enough mobility to make this offense work. And...for some reason, you just seem to ignore all of it.
  15. Ummm....Weather in Lincoln this weekend is 51 degrees with small chance or precipitation. Weather in Daytona Beach, FL is supposed to be 71 and a chance of Rain on Friday for travel. I'm not seeing how the weather is making travel plans tough.
