  1. It's going to be really interesting as the debates go on. I personally think Trump is going to drop in the polls again. Its just my own prediction. But, I have to believe when the entire nation starts hearing him talk again unscripted, it's going to go down hill from there. Maybe this is natural...I have not followed their site before...But, the polls plus and polls only graphs are almost identical now when before they were somewhat different.
  2. I'm actually becoming a Mark Cuban fan.
  3. Well....now....why would the Village Idiot have to abide by what SC and US District judges say?
  4. Thank you.... I'll still call them idiots because that's what they are.
  5. OK...something he keeps saying that I call total BS on. He keeps saying his tax return is 12,000 pages. That is flat out a bunch of crap.
  6. We played CCGs in the years from 1960 to 2001???
  7. And Trump wants to ban Muslims and close down the FDA.
  8. Interesting read. I had a hard time figuring out sometimes where he was trying to go with what he was saying. But, I think the gist of the article is true. Conservatism as it is today, is in real trouble and I think there are lots of people who are delusional as to what exactly all this means. I also found interesting what he says about conservatives under trump think they are a majority when they aren't. They need to come to that reality with a slap in the face.
  9. I appreciate your efforts and it's interesting to look at. But, I'm not sure you can look at all the classes through just September and say if recruiting has improved or not. We don't just use players on Saturday that commit before Oct 1st. What this does show is that early recruiting hasn't improved that much other than we are getting more recruits to commit earlier....which....is an improvement by itself.
  10. Cubs are not involved in this three way. I'm assuming you meant to type "Cards". I would agree with your last paragraph. If you choose C, theoretically, you get to play a team that is in the worst situation.
  11. I'm actually assuming TA is the one who saw it and was able to take advantage of it.
  12. Neither a 11-1 or 12-0 Husker team makes the playoff. But a 12-1 (w/ CCG win) or 13-0 Husker team would. Yep.....go 12-1 with a conference championship or better and we are in the playoff.
  13. Holy cow! I'm heading home before it snows. Hope he didn't jinx us. Can't really jinx us now. Since the league is so tough, we'll all just be beating up each other and wearing each other down. Some teams might not have anything left come bowl season. Yeah.....if we lose to Wisconsin or OSU, we should actually gain in the polls because the Big X is so tough.
  14. That was an absolute amazing catch. I was watching it on MLB when it happened. So....what's the mechanism to deal with a three way tie for the wild card? I'm having a problem deciding which team I would rather play in the first round. Cards: Big rival so weird things tend to happen. Giants: They tend to get hot in the off season and play better than in the regular season. Mets: We just haven't had good luck against them this year.
  15. Does Oregon still telegraph if it's an inside or outside zone read by the alignment of the RB to the QB? At one time, if it was inside zone, the RB was always a step behind the QB. If it's outside zone, the RB is even with the QB. On this play, the RB is even with the QB. So, if they still do that, the defense should have known it was going to be outside zone read.
  16. Still a three way tie for the wild card in the NL. This is going to come right down to the wire.
  17. So frustrating to see uneducated posts. So you are trying to tell me, that Riley's staff gets absolutely no credit for keeping good commits, committed after a coaching change? Are you serious? I'll do my own study, you do yours. I'll guarantee 1 damn thing, mine will be an accurate representation of Nebraska football, yours will not. Wow, I think you are taking my post the wrong way. I am also really excited about this recruiting class and really wanted to see if the recruiting was doing as well as I thought it was. I quickly threw this together yesterday based on the data that was available on 247 and the time I had. If anything I was hoping to find out that our recruiting was doing so much better this year than under the previous staff. I was surprised to see that the recruiting services are showing that there isn't that much of a difference. I'd love to be shown how to do this better than how I approached it. My intention wasn't to disparage the current staff but to explore how things might be improved. I don't know where I took credit away from Riley from keeping good commits? I believe recruiting has improved but, you need to go back a little farther to see it. The last few classes of Bo's were actually pretty decent compared to the first few of his time here. That has carried through to last year and this year. Where I'm excited for an improvement is the fact we are getting some even bigger studs visiting and interested. If we can get some of those to commit, you will see a jump on ratings on the complete class.
  18. But...but...but....the world's greatest negotiator is going to negotiate and not pay all of that debt.
  19. I wonder if he has ever been told there is a portion of the border with a very tall fence and drugs still get through because they build elaborate tunnels that are very hard to find. But...good Lord....can the guy put two coherent sentences together?
  20. Not sure I would have that as what's making me confident on the post season.
  21. lol Frazier was fast- I thought he ran like a 4.5 electronic 40 LOL he wasn't the fastest guy on the field. TA is fast too. But, both of them were fast enough with running instincts to get away from faster defenders.well ok... But our I backs back then were really fast, most of them were probably faster than Frazier. I know Green ran a 4.3 when here. I didn't think you were literally saying he wasn't the fastest guy on the field, I thought you were using the phrase figuratively. I don't think you can compare armstrongs speed to fraziers just because there were a couple of players faster than Frazier on the best team in college football ever Question....have you ever been in a discussion on a board and someone takes your statement and tries to take the discussion in a direction that your statement never was meant to be taken?
