EZ..... I completely agree. I work in management and the one single worst think I absolutely hate doing is firing or letting someone go under me. I absolutely hate it. NOW.....put that in the situation where a coach has to do that to a kid that he knows if he doesn't have that scholarship, his future college career is done and he comes from a family that doesn't have a pot to piss in.

Gotta ask. Please don't take this as a slam on this kid because I trust Miles in his evaluation and if he wants him this bad, he should be good. However, what makes all of you so excited about this kid? I can not find anything on this kid. His video in this thread doesn't show anything. There are no star rankings. Is it based on his offer list?

I hate that it's becoming a full time job even for high school students. I don't like it either. I have two girls who play VB and its amazing the time they put into it year round. BUT, Pandora's box is opened on the issue in football. Southern states are doing it and they are developing these kids. There isn't this genetic border at the Mason Dixon line that says all the God given talent is in the south and there isn't any up here. There are kids up here that could play if they are developed. The South however are developing them and those kids want to stay at home to play.

Honestly, I don't get our coach's strategy in all of this. They put out the full court press on the #1 JUCO TE. They really wanted him and I have to believe they were disappointed they didn't get him. SO....we are sitting in the driver's seat with the #2 JUCO TE and pull the plug and don't want him. Meanwhile, we are graduating our two top TEs. I really hope they have something good in mind.

All this proves is how worthless the polls are. The AP is full of writers who have biases and are filled with people who think their experts but aren't. The coaches poll is filled with a bunch of ballots that in no way shape or form is filled out by actual coaches. AND, even if they were, no way in heck can a coach of a Div 1 program watch enough football to know how to rank people. Thank God we at least will have the start of a play off in a few years.

Lane has repeatedly proven himself to be a scumbag and a bad coach. I know USC is a glamour school, but I don't know how any parents could trust their kid to him. Well, they are sitting with only 14 recruits so maybe someone is starting to take notice. Problem is, according to Scout, of those 14, 12 are top 100 recruits with 5 - 5* and 9 - 4*.

Maybe Cravens needs to reconsider.
