I hope we win Saturday for several reasons... 1. The obvious. A conference championchip and a BCS game. 2. For the impact that it will have on recruiting on a national level 3. Being the Big 10 Champs and a trip to Pasadena on Jan 1 provides this football team the luxury of practicing another 4-5 weeks longer as a team. It will make the underclassmen that much more prepared and hungry heading to the off-season! Not to mention why we are practing OhioSt cant! I think this is a big deal if you look at the schedules heading into next year! BEAT WISCONSIN! GBR!

Pretty simple for me, After my experience in Madison last year it has to be Wisconsin. I havent slept right in 3 days Im ready for the Huskers to take care of business on Saturday night!

I think the reason Nebraska hasnt used their allotment of tix for the Big 10 Champ. game is that alot of people are holding out for that tri[p to Pasadena. With the holidays right around the corner two road trips would be too much. They are going to wait it out this Saturday and then everyone and their mother will try and get tixs to get to Pasadena.

I saw it a couple times last week but when we run the zone read out of the fullhouse backfield I think this play is very tough to stop. The defense has to read 2 down blocks, a pulling guard and then have the responsibility of three pitchmen and the QB. If this is ran on a quick snap it could be very successful at any point in the game!

We better go in to this game knowing that they have to play 4 quarters. If we continue this play like crap for a quarter in a half and then hope we come back it might cost us. Wisconsin is going to be about as healthy as they have been all year long too. We on the other hand are not.

Stanford. They are playing great right now but I rather have our defense prepare for a stationary QB rather than a mobile one.

I think 2-3 years from now Nathan Gerry could be the steal of the class. I think he has all physical attributes to play strong safety and I think he could be a beast coming up to help stop the run. Wouldnt suprise me one bit if he is a 2-3 year starter.

i suppose, but he made it clear he was going to decide in december all along He was supposed to bring his Mom here to have her take a look, never came through I feel like our chances have slipped. I sure hope not. Of all the schools hes considering I kind of thought we were his best fit. Almost immediate playing time, fits the offensive scheme, a chance to play in conference championship games, BCS games and a possibilty of playing at the next level. I believe he could do all of those things at Nebraska and would have a better chance of accomplishing these things than if he were to stay home and go to ASU...

Do you think the Washington loss to pathetic Washington state makes this anymore realistic that he could decommit and possibly go elsewhere?

I have heard for weeks now about a December decision is coming but does anybody know when in December?

Is he set to decide before the Big 10 Championship game? If not, I wonder how much the result of the game will effect his decision?

I'm thankful for Bob Devaney and Tom Osborne laying the foundation for one of the most celebrated collegiate football programs. Without these two men the entire dynamic of Nebraska Football woul be much different. GBR!

Not that JP isnt doing a good job....but juggling the recruiting coordinator and the DC cant be easy! Another well rounded coach could help aleviate some of the day to day tasks...

I know this will never happen in a million years but giving Dabo Sweeney or Jeff Tedford a call to be the recruiting coordinator isnt the worst thing in the world.....I could barely write that without laughing! GBR!

Started and won a State Championship my jr year lettered both ways my senior year. Was on a full scholly to SIU before I tore the "Big 3" in my left knee to never play another snap. I got a medical RS only for the staff to be fired. Jerry Kill then came in and made me try to walk on. Oh well my Huskers got something for you on Saturday Jerry!! GBR!!

Than take NW and the pts! I think Nebraska is going to be pretty sharp on both sides of the ball! GBR!!

We are going to have to play very smart on the defensive side of the ball! Need to keep our gap integrity and be very responsible with their different pitchmen on their zone read plays. If we miss an assignment they have alot of talent on their offense in open space. I think we want Braxton Miller to throw the ball. Offensively pretty simple make them stop you rather than stopping ourself. Turnovers and penalties have been killing us especially early in the game(UCLA, Wisky). I think we can eventually wear them down and break off some runs late in this game! It's gonna be close but there is no question we have the talent to win and win on the road! GBR!

From ESPN sounds like the RB from Ohio St Jordan Hall isnt going to play Saturday. Partial tear of his PCL. Take it for what its worth...

I'm curious if Bo will get an extension under TO if they make it the Rose Bowl or better. Big 10 Championchip is Dec 3 I believe? He dosent resign until Jan 1. Maybe...maybe not?
