  1. Could be that half the US is asleep right now... Na, it's true. We do post more when we suck. Members start coming out of the woodwork, it's a great party. It's like listening to Big Red Reaction it's way better to listen to after a loss than a win.
  2. Do you guys realize the jet sweep motion we've used several times so far is a form of misdirection?
  3. They said on the radio that the all whites aren't really a statement thing or a normal thing. They just didn't want it to look like a scrimmage since Fresno wears all red home uniforms.
  4. ISU since I spent a year and a half there, great school, terrible football.
  5. This Maryland game is crazy guys

  6. It's a shame our OC is such an idiot...
  7. That was very ugly but, at the end of the day we got the W and should enjoy it. (Don't mistake enjoy for accepting mediocrity, etc.) Fact is, the regular season is already 1/6 of the way over and even watching the Huskers play piss poor against an FCS team is better than 8 months of offseason.
  8. No that's part of our identity But we don't have one remember?
  9. why not use what works, guess I just don't get that THE PASSING GAME SEEMS TO BE WORKING PRETTY WELL AT THE MOMENT
  10. Because if we would have ran it every time that drive we would have went 3 and out....
  11. It was just FAU but, they did have one of the best passing defenses last year. Most of the time Tommy put the ball in position so that if anybody was going to make the play it was going to be the WR not the DB. He did flat out miss a few and make mistakes but, overall the entire team looked great for the first game and it felt different than some of the blowouts of the last few years, especially with Bo saying the presser something along the lines of, "everybody in the locker room knows the season isn't about beating FAU".
  12. 493 rushing yards and still passed it 33 times
  13. Already knew that, like I said earlier it's more about the how and not the end result. So you would accept less production, and more passing if it meant they were in an I or Ace set instead of shotgun, or am I missing something?
  14. You have 4 teams and 5 letters.....do you want us to put Nebraska on there also? I'm mostly guessing here. Team A - Alabama Team B - Auburn Team C - Stanford Team D - Nebraska Team E - Michigan State You did get three correct. I'll give away that Auburn is team B.
  15. Since so many people want our offense to be like Auburn, Alabama, Stanford, or Michigan State, let's see if we can match each team to it's stats. Each team is labeled A, B, C, D, or E with passing-rushing attempts and passing-rushing yards for each game.(schedules are jumbled up and conference championship games not accounted for) Team A: 1. 37-27 127-210 2. 27-29 246-143 3. 17-49 151-240 4. 18-51 158-261 5. 18-32 88-185 6. 28-40 322-238 7.35-35 417-186 8. 13-66 103-274 9. 20-41 100-179 10. 18-36 143-162 11. 22-34 197-205 12. 27-41 207-197 13. 25-50 227-192 Team B: 1. 7-53 35-444 2. 34-36 339-120 3. 42-40 236-379 4. 17-48 93-282 5. 9-46 133-233 6. 27-57 243-323 7. 22-43 201-511 8. 32-53 224-213 9. 18-59 206-422 10. 27-53 217-232 11. 20-46 99-295 12. 19-50 167-301 13. 16-52 97-296 Team C: 1. 24-28 110-96 2. 29-37 334-234 3. 24-37 180-352 4. 28-37 275-204 5. 32-33 187-196 6. 30-35 387-129 7. 34-30 296-181 8. 20-42 179-193 9. 27-21 272-66 10. 29-35 277-218 11. 20-32 184-251 12. 32-40 180-254 13. 36-44 369-299 Team D: 1. 23-43 145-128 2. 28-46 194-285 3. 26-51 310-335 4. 31-56 184-251 5. 36-41 192-168 6. 22-63 155-375 7. 35-42 203-128 8. 42-50 277-195 9. 32-32 210-182 10. 37-37 199-89 11. 16-43 163-144 12. 30-30 139-189 13. 20-50 186-335 Team E: 1. 37-42 116-181 2. 33-39 252-142 3. 31-47 235-238 4. 16-55 208-269 5. 20-31 143-181 6. 32-49 270-277 7. 32-48 193-168 8. 36-35 254-119 9. 26-41 112-182 10. 23-40 293-171 11. 24-38 94-171 12. 36-35 332-65 13. 44-37 277-135
  16. That sound you here is everybody in Nebraska hitting the floor from fainting.
  17. All good points, and I'm not expecting to see empty spots in Memorial Stadium this year. But I didn't expect to see empty spots in the student section when I just barely got to my seat in time for kickoff for the 2012 Arkansas St game. I also didn't think I'd see them last year before the UCLA game either. And I damn sure didn't expect to see holes in the sea of red and an inordinate amount of Iowa fans sitting in non-visitors sections for the Sr. Day game last November. It's easy to point to early start times, or holidays, but the facts are those are factors that never used to play into whether or not Memorial was going to be full on football Saturdays. Is this dire? Absolutely not. But the fact that the donation levels didn't go up this year for tickets, there's a new "visitors section" in the East Stadium expansion that I'm pretty sure wasn't planned, and now there are tickets for sale....I think it proves what Count Apostrophe said up there to be true. Time to go 11-1 or along those lines. That'll get asses in seats, or standing on them, whichever you prefer. I expected you to see holes in the student sections....why? Because those holes have been there since the 1990's....especially when the students (of which I was one during the early 90's) smush down into the front making it appear like the student section is less empty than it is. Been doing it for 20 years...why did you think they'd change just for you when you were there? The world does not revolve around what you survey there Polo. This is on the front page of the World Herald at the moment.image.jpg #expectations #lowered #shutdownthefootballprogram
  18. It's not an issue as an isolated thing. When it's coupled with the bowl game charter being cancelled for the first time in years, declining bowl sales the years before that, and obvious splotches on game day, regardless of start times or cozy students, it could be an alarming trend. I know the "bad bowl opponents/early games/crummy home opponents" reasoning is there, but the at times questionable play by the team has a lot to do with that. The play was more questionable from 2004-2007 than now. But we had recruiting... That ranked right about the same as what we do now... Sorry should have included

  20. Great attitude, it's just too bad he plays for a coach who doesn't honor hard work. In all seriousness I hope things work out well for him here.
  21. No money for food or transportation, why are we not paying these guys yet!?!?
