If coach Frost comes on board he needs to flip Norton, Kansas QB Jace Ruder from his North Carolina verbal. Had 17 offers (From the likes Kansas State, Iowa, Florida, Florida State, Penn State, Georgia, etc.). I think Ruder would be a great fit in Frost’s offense. 6’3”, 205-pounds (4.46) and also a very good all-round athlete (basketball and track). Many would know Norton is just off the Nebraska border. I guess I don’t find Sharp that bad but I have spent much of my life hearing him call ballgames. With me being from Kansas, I remember him plenty as the voice of Kansas State during Snyder’s hey days. Took over for Mitch Holtus (Voice of the Chiefs). Would be sad not to hear Matt but would hope he would still be involved with Husker athletics.

Going back over his press conference from today, you definitely get the feeling of him saying his goodbyes to Orlando and Central Florida. Definitely was saying a lot of things in past tense and his comment about being able to win “conference titles” was telling. He knows he can’t win a national championship there. Not to mention him talking about his interest in Nebraska and his love for Nebraska was extremely telling. Like mentioned, if he is not coming, greatest troll job of all time.

The word is the coaching/agent profession is that Taggart wants back in the south in the worst way. He has a very good gig at Oregon but it isn't a natural fit for him. It was the big knock on Oregon when they hired him in the first place that he wasn't a good fit. Also Sumlin to Arizona State is a great move all-around for both parties. Can't freaking stand the douche bag Graham in general!

Yes I agree Leach would be a blast to have for the interviews but again his style of play just wouldn't fly that well at Nebraska or the B1G in general. I'll be honest, I do NOT like the Air Raid at all but if you are going to have anyone run it, Leach is the only one I would trust. I think his system would work in the SEC and at Tennessee though. He can take over as the Steve Spurrier of the SEC.

There is a lot of talk that Tennessee may turn to Moos's old coach in Mike Leach as their next head coach.

1) Play elite level blackshirt defense (talking Wisconsin/Michigan good) 2) Ability to run the ball very effectively (may never be 90’s good but a quality rushing attack) 3) Dual-threat Quarterback 4) Identity (give us a quality product that screams Nebraska... hopefully physical and with passion) 5) Contend for B1G titles (challenge Wisconsin for West titles to start)

Yes everything you said is true in reality. And it has made a big difference in us reaching that level. With that said, as long as Wisconsin has the type of success they have had for quite a long time now, I’m always hopeful we can rebound as a program.

If no Frost, I would be 100% behind a Bohl hire. He is a very good coach that runs a damn good all-around football program... at NDSU and Wyoming.
