This season isn't going to be anything close to the horror that was '07.

I'm actually excited. While there is certainly the possibility this season could become nightmarish, there is also the possibility of this being a real season to remember. We'll see where we stand in a good few weeks.

I think simplifying the gameplan was a great call too. I think it's a combo of that and lesser opponent. TA is definitely going to be a great QB, but he's too young and inexperienced for me to trust to take on the Big Ten right away like this. I will admit my concerns about some teams have risen, but not enough to put me in great fear. Michigan State is definitely not a tossup. Their offense is so anemic that even our defense will look good against them.

I know our competition looked meh - but we're gonna get gashed. I can't see out offense operating at the pace it did Saturday through conference play. See, I would have agreed with you before this week, but the level of competition that our opponents struggled against, it was incredible. UConn? Maine? I'm not saying we'll destroy every team on our schedule, but I feel more confident that we can win enough of them to get to the CCG. Even a slight improvement to our defense would give us a huge advantage.

Wait, 7-5 looked more likely this week than last? I don't mean this as Nebraska looking better, but our competition looking much, much worse. Northwestern was very meh against Maine. Michigan isn't that good either.

Bo's safe from firing as of now, but as to whether he'll decide to stay is uncertain.

I would be open to seeing rotations of Tommy and Taylor.

Tommy is exciting to watch, I'm just too hesitant to completely switch QBs. What effect could it have on the team? I'm just uncertain on that.

It is nice to see that one side of the ball looks like it has solved its issues, barring the turnovers that is, which are still frustrating. The thing about our defense is that it doesn't even need to be great. Just good.
