  1. Political debate can occur without insults. This is a reminder to direct comments about the post not the poster.
  2. That picture actually has me liking the alternative jersey. Switch back to the traditional helmet with the , and I think you got something.
  3. I agree. Fourth visit and now he is peer recruiting by bringing his teammate Bryce Foster.
  4. Generation talk is really annoying. In fact, your argument is "kids these days are so full of themselves that they don't know when to quit because of how hard the competition is". Really?
  5. That's cool and could add to the atmosphere at PBA. Post the decibel bar during opponents free throws or important defensive moments. Could motivate the crowd to get more involved.
  6. Apparently Breon Dixon and Mo Barry had any interesting conversation on Twitter. Someone want to post it here?

I think we are all hoping that guys will shut up and just go to work. Nothing else.

IMO, Twitter and social media are nothing more than a huge problem as it relates to players, team chemistry and trying to keep players from transmitting the wrong message. Maybe the general public not seeing these things wouldn't matter or change anything but I'd be real tempted to out and out ban it's use for my players if I was a coach. What good ever comes from it?

Even if you ban the players, their families can still tweet stupid stuff. It sounds like Noah Fant’s brother was criticizing IA coaching staff recently.

  7. I didn't realize the sellout streak began with the first sellout ever in Memorial Stadium. That makes it that much more impressive.
  8. Shortly after they ran out of original ideas and shame.
  9. If there is an anti-LZ crowd, those are people you don't want to associate yourself with.
  10. First of all, Led Zeppelin and The Smashing Pumpkins are awesome bands. I am not a fan of some of the SP work when they go deep electronica, but that's does not take away my enjoyment of their music as a whole. Now, Greta Van Fleet. I listened to both of their albums for about 12 hours yesterday while I was writing (doing both of those things right now actually). I am not joking. In fact, when I start listening to a new album, I usually play that alone for a month or so. If I love it cover-to-cover and can listen to it on indefinite repeat, I keep it. They are a dead ringer for Zeppelin, no doubt. However, the music is good. The songs are not derivative. I feel like they hold their own. Good find, @Fru
  11. If Morrow is such an unscrupulous person, you have to wonder why Nebraska is still talking to him.
  12. If you are looking for a descent Led Zeppelin cover band...
  13. Hopefully, this sobers some people up about throwing out accusations before facts are provided. Of course, the question can be posed if this version of the story is true. The point remains nothing has been verified, so I would urge everyone (especially those posting on this site) to be reserved in public judgement. It makes us look oafish otherwise.
  14. Let's be careful throwing out unsubstantiated rumors. Bagmen are a very real part of recruitment, but until you have proof to share, let's be careful going too far with accusations.
  15. That is not new information, though his pending decision could have changed the weight that reality carries. Still, I wonder if the CFP rankings being released two days ago had something to do with it. If I were Kentucky coaches, my pitch would become more crystalized, "Do you want to commit to a 2-6 team or the #11 team in the country"? The records for these two teams have not changed this week, but the perception of where Kentucky and Nebraska are nationally may have with the CFP rankings being released.
  16. I said this in Thompkins' thread before the season. Watching JoJo this season (in limited reps), he has shown amazing athleticism and is clearly back to 100%. The human spirit is an awesome thing.
  17. I was going to ask this regardless of the outcome today. 247 has Wandale as the #4 APB, and the #5 you ask? Nebraska-commit Ronald Thompkins. So, my question is how do you compare Wandale and Ronald, and what do you project their roles would be in a Nebraska Frost/Walters offense.
  18. Probably great timing for Kentucky that the CFP rankings came out just before Wandale's announcement. Gives them a clear contrasting argument to be made.
  19. Pretty sure there was very little doubt in this decision. I mean I would speculate that there was between 88.71-100% confidence that Wright would commit to Nebraska.
