I would say, he did not live up to the expectations I had for him. I really thought he'd be more of a beast. Thinking our line is actually going to be better next year with Finin, Knevel, Kondola. After the Iowa game I was in the tunnel as the players went into the locker room, and I could not believe how huge Knevel is. I know I am probably not spelling an names correctly. There is a HUGE HD TV there in the north end zone. Pretty awesome, unless your tickets are in the north end zone, where mine are.

I don't think they take reservations, but you may want to get there plenty early. What is your game day choice of drink? I typically like red beer or bloody Mary's.

I think some people go to Buffalo Wild Wings downtown. Other than that, I am not sure. Good luck though finding a spot though, and GBR!!

Preseason rankings mean squat to me. I'd rather have the Huskers ranked lower or not at all so there isn't any false expectation out there. Then if we start winning a few games we can move up accordingly. Look at USC last year, etc, etc....

I believe we are above mediocre. Contending for conference championships is above average in my book. I was actually pretty impressed we made it to the CCG last season. Although the defense was bad in our losses, the team generally outplayed my expectations. This year, it's on! (If the defense can do anything). Also, if Bo was ridiculously fired, we wouldn't not find anybody better in MHO.

I am so tired of this conversation. Bo is a good coach and more importantly a great fit for Husker nation. I believe you can't fire a coach for many 9-4, 10-4 seasons in today's college football landscape. To fire Bo or even to think about firing Bo would be a step backwards for this program. I firmly believe a championship is just around the corner. I never felt that way with Callahan. This isn't coming from just a fan, this coming from a guy who knows football through and through. Fans on the other side of the spectrum need to wake up to reality. If people were this passionate about the job our current US president is doing, our country would be in much better shape. GBR

On another note, I've been reading this board for about 5 years now. Finally decided to chime in. Does anybody think the black game jerseys detract from the "blackshirt" tradition? I had a non Husker fan friend ask what I thought. I told him I didn't think so since technically the "blackshirts" is a practice honor and somewhat of special club that is earned.

Here's the thing: When the skers take the field with the entire team wearing these uniforms it's gonna look pretty freakin awesome. I was at the wiscy game last year and as soon as I saw everyone on the feild, it gave me chills. I expect nothing less this year. The black jersey is bad ass!!
