Redux

The Twilight Zone where almost doing something earns a warning;

Almost parked in the wrong spot?

Almost parked too close to a fire hydrant?

Almost failed to yield right of way?

Almost had a headlight out?

Almost crossed the center line?

Almost was speeding?

Yeah, we need these almost crimes enforced more

I may make this the basis of my new dystopian novel.

It's not almost.  Even if it's not a fire lane it can still be non-parking.  Every area in front of a business is usually non-parking unless it's a designated parking stall.

A literal parking lot 10 feet away with no spots open for another 30 or more feet, hence why she went out to get the car while I waited under heat with kids.

Again, it isn't that he lectured us.  He's a cop.  That's the job.  I get that.  Again, I'd rather pay a ticket than pay for one of them getting another ear infection starting tomorrow when deductibles start over.  Again, it was his overly s#!tty attitude and bully persona that irked me.  But sympathize with him all you want, speaks more about you than it does me.  And for the record I don't care if anyone agrees with me, I was just venting anyways.  I need no approval here, my kids come first over stupid parking violations any day.
