The only potential UCLA crushed is going 14-0. Is that not crushing enough? It also made us an afterthought in most polls, not that we wont get back in come Sunday when the BCS rankings are released. Need the Bruins to run the table.

What I dont like about it is the potential it HAD. UCLA crushed that dream but overall the teams we play did us no favors. It set up well for us to win but if we lose it will look really really bad.

Taylor is needed for Northwesern hands down. Armstrong can play against the Gophers. MSUs defense would likely shake TA, so play Taylor and get a good lead and maybe let TA finish the game so he knows what to expect from them next season. UM and PSU are also Taylor games. If we can get tthrough that stretch start the kid for Iowa and let Magic heal up for CCG.

The obvious answer is to burn JSIV's redshirt Mother of god how did I not see this before!

Hypothetical: Tommy takes us to the Big Ten title game while Magic heals up. Then come title game week Taylor is healthy and good to go. Who plays?

We should be in control. It jus depends how the division shakes out. NW gets Michigan at home so its a tossup give it to NW for revenge MSU should be able to slow down Michigan just enough NW will likely outscore MSU Iowa......not really a factor unless they beat one of the above mentioned Minnesota lost Jerry Kill and that hurts their chances of anything Meanwhile we can outlast NW, outscore MSU, and handle Iowa and Minnie. Going to Michigan and PSU is just so unknown at this point. Neither team should give us much trouble but one of them has to be a loss. Either way we can handily go 7-1 MAYBE 8-0. Its ours for the taking really. Question is how badly does the youth on our team want it.

Yeah the odds of us making a BCS Title game are about as good as my chances with Mila Kunis. But hell Id be happy with a Rose Bowl.

The GPA alone is reason enough to keep Bo around, people take that for granted unfortunately. Side question: AnYone know how were coming along concerning getting back in the AAU?

The way I originally understood it was the grad rate and GPA were among the highest under any head coach of NU. I dont have anything other than hearing that stat multiple times, to back it up.

Yeah hopefully when we get reconfigured next season, a coiple of our division mates will agree to a later meeting. Wisconsin at 2:39 or 6 would be great. Actually I wish we xould play the Badgers in September, they play betrer the colder it gets.

This is impressive. That play was impressive... not just the catch either --- the burst of speed upon catching that ball was amazing. I think he was saying the conference switch was impressive. The gif is in all his posts. Still impressiv e though.

It was definitely not a gameplan you would take to Ann Arbor. Suffice to say though, had it been the Big House and Tommy played with that disregard, the results could have been disastorous. Michigan is clearly not the world beater they were built up to be but Im glag TA got to play warm up on the road against Purdue and maybe Minnesota before being thrust into the fires of Maize and Blue or Happy Valley. Call me pessemistic but I just dont think Taylor finishes the season if/when hes comes back. The injury bug claims another Senior, and its a real damn shame. Hope magic can lace it up for us but it doesnt look good.

That is a hell of a nice stat I was unaware of. Said it the other day but man am I impressed by the way they develop RBs. Its too bad they don't get much recognition for it.

I just thought it would be good to remind people of the good things that have happened under Coach Pelini's regime. -Ohio State Comeback/Biggest Point Margin comeback in NU history -Upholds Zach Darlington's scholarship regardless of his playing future -Excellent GPA and Graduation Rate -Strict no nonsense off field drama: Ernest Suttles, Quentin Castille etc. -Nick Pasquale tribute decal and gold/blue baloons for UCLA game -Shows he can have a good relationship with team: Harlem Shake video, Cell Phone prank etc. -Penn State pre-game prayer in aftermath of Sandusky scandal and JoePa firing -Jack Hoffman Spring Game Touchdown and resulting.ESPY Award for Jack Was Bo the mastermind behind all of these, perhaps not. But it all happened under his watch. Lets try to remember these things when you feel he is being to agressive on the sideline. Please share what Ive left out.

Love the potential, future looks bright. Pressure looks very promising. Youth is gonna be explosive next year, just what we needed. That was as close to an actual shutout as you can get and they earned it. I say let their young QB have his TD but the onside was pointless and couldv'e caused an injury like they said on the radio.
