The Texas job is great in terms of salary, benefits, prestige, visibility, resources and ease of recruiting. It's terrible in terms of managing the alumni, boosters and variety of factions in the athletic department, university and state. They need more than someone who's simply a good football coach to take that job and do well at it. He'd also better be a good politician.
