  1. Well if they played us they would be a 10-1 top 15 team amirite??
  2. Except they left cuz they both got beat out... starting for a lesser program means Verduzco did something wrong??? Your logic or lack there of is astounding
  3. The way I see it, the defense is trending in the right direction, now its time for the offense to hold up its end of the deal. If the defense is able to hold the opposing team below 30 points (which the did in all but the Ohio St. and Illinois game this year, in spite of the offense doing everything it could to f* the defense over), then the offense should be able to get us the win by scoring more than 30, that's basically one touchdown per quarter, plus a field goal thrown in somewhere. Chinander's and the defensive staff earned their cash this year as far as I'm concerned, our offensive staff might have some splainin to do.
  4. Fewest penalty ypg: tied for 94th with 60.62 ypg Really, really wish they would factor in lost yardage into this statistic. Oh man ,there goes Mills, He's to the 20, the 30, the 40, the 50. Omg. A 48 yard run... Hold up- the ref is reaching- yup. Flag. That play is not a 10 yard loss, and how many of those did we see this year.... seemingly every single big momentum shift play Nebraska had in the games we lost... Amazingly, this doesn't seem to happen to Nebraska opponents, but that is a different conversation.. Nebraska should be dead last in this stat at approximately 150 penalty yards per game of you factor in the "lost yardage."
  5. Who wants to bet 0 holding calls against Rutgers tonight?
  6. . Bullcrap. If anything, the rules for holding are more lax now than back then, making drive blocking that much easier. For everyone, but Nebraska.
  7. Oliver Martin seems to be doing ok too. Given the short season and lack of spring/fall ball.
  8. Haha right.... so we won't evaluate Jurgens as a Center either since 247 has him listed as a TE.
  9. Missing Wan'Dale... but maybe, just maybe that doesn't fit your agenda.
  10. My thoughts exactly. Wasn't his sister a basketball player somewhere? Maybe not.
  11. 18 year fix guys! So... should we offer? https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/babies-board-nfls-ndamukong-suh-180016532.html
  12. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/babies-board-nfls-ndamukong-suh-180016532.html Word is Suh is having twins- too soon for scholarship offers?
  13. Hey I got an idea. Let's you and I both go in for a heart surgery. The crew working on you, is learning on the job they've been there a mix of 1-3 years. The crew working on me has been there mostly 5 years, with a standout or two that has been there 3 or 4 years. Which one of us is more likely to survive?
  14. I have multiple relatives that work in the healthcare industry who were told even if they tested positive, but are asymptomatic they were to show up for work. My mother-in-law (who is a rn working directly with covid patients on the covid floor at a hospital) about 2 months ago got incredibly sick with a Kidney infection. Many of her symptoms aligned with covid. She was denied a covid test in the E.R.
  15. Eh, while true in a sense, I liken a doctor who has decided to work within the single payer system akin to a lawyer who has decided to be a public defender, county attorney, district attorney, etc, rather than within a private practice. - I think for the point I'm making- that some doctors would go into private practice to maximize income, while some would go into a more relaxed care first practice to maximize quality of life- it's a close enough comparison.
  16. That settles it- the next coach after a "Mike" is bound for greatness. We're good guys!
  17. And to be clear, you were the one who said "all doctors."
  18. We've already discussed single payer. Just like in any other industry, law especially, some will choose private practice in order to maximize earnings, some will choose a salaried position to maximize quality of life. Nearly every industry has some version of this choice. Then it'd be no different for patient to go to a private practice that it is for patients to go "out of network now, and you pay more."
  19. That's not what I was suggesting and nearly preposterous to suggest. College education is primarily state funded- does that mean there are no private colleges? Pre-K through high school is primarily government funded, does that mean there are no private schools? Law has all sorts of jobs that are publicly funded, does that mean there are no private practices? I could go on and on and on.
