  1. Hire Mangino as OC, fire Cotton, hire Ganz for qbs. I agree, but I wouldn't hire Ganz for QBs. I would hire someone older who has actually developed QBs. Our QB play is way too inconsistent
  2. I can see this even tho it sucks, but what do you expect when you finish with the exact same record every year? Same bowls and same match ups. We will see if Pelini can actually beat and SEC team for once
  3. Amen to that, there more bone than chicken in my experiences. Also they barely put any wing sauce on your wings
  4. We might as well just join the MAC or WAC or Sunbelt conference, because its clear all Husker fans care about now is the wins, not the quality of wins or the quality of opponent. Sad day in husker football.
  5. I dont know why anyone would think we would of been any better this year with a different QB, even a healthy martinez. Its clear there is ZERO quarterback development on this team. Every single QB that has played under pelini has had turnover problems and problems reading coverages. Stanton wont be any better than Armstrong if we dont have anyone here developing these guys. As of right now it looks like next year we will be getting more of the same thing we have been seeing for the QB position for the last 6 years. INTS, Fumbles, Bad reads.
  6. More than it took to beat penn state, and Northwestern. Iowa has a solid defense and a solid run game. Should be a 3 point game.
  7. At the VERY least Ross els needs to go. Special teams have bee the worst I've ever seen it and it's not helping our offense at all. All season we have been trying to find the right combination at linebacker which is another Els coached unit. You would think after spring ball and non conference play you would have at least a couple of LB positions filled but we had none. He is also the recruiting coordinator which also is under achieving, so I'd say let Els go for sure. Also wouldn't be against replacing the DC too and OC.
  8. Here's something Bo has had the same opportunity as any other team to do in each of his first five seasons: Make a BCS bowl. It's a list that potentially grows this year, as Nebraska won't be making one. The current tally sits at 30. Alabama (4) Oregon (4) Stanford (3) Wisconsin (3) Florida (3) Virginia Tech (3) Ohio State (3) Oklahoma (2) Texas (2) TCU (2) Cincinnati (2) Notre Dame LSU Michigan USC Florida State Penn State Boise State Clemson Arkansas Auburn West Virginia Oklahoma State Louisville Kansas State Utah Northern Illinois UConn Iowa Georgia Tech ... I can live with not making a BCS bowl in six, even seven years, if we're regularly coming within striking distance for it. But I can also completely understand anyone who says "At Nebraska, that's not a good enough bottom line." misleading information, too many variables you haven't taking in consideration. variables like what? Its FACTS, we cant make a BCS bowl, hell we cant even beat a team thats ranked higher than us
  9. Mr. Dirk is cherrypicking, and the bolded statement is not true. It only seems that way because the focus is exclusively on the negative statistics and not the positive ones. No mention of how many other schools have accomplished the 9 win consistency we have. No mention of how many schools haven't won their division and played for their conference title 3 out of the last 4 years. No mention of the development and NFL success of the likes of Ndamukong Suh, Prince Amukamara, Alfonzo Dennard, Phillip Dillard, Lavonte David, Jared Crick, Niles Paul, Cody Glenn and others who were nobodies before Bo came around. I see we picked wins against teams in the top 5 as one of the measuring sticks - why? Top 5 is abritrary, why not Top 6? Probably because we've had a Top 6 win and that doesn't fit the narrative. These are just a few examples why it's disingenous to not look at the entire picture and body of work in discussing this. It's nothing more than propaganda. What has winning our division gotten us? Three other schools have had 9 wins or more and they all have atleast 2 conference titles and atleast 1 Bcs apperances, how many does nebraska have? You know this fan base has gotten completely pathetic when they are honestly using DIVISION titles as an arguing point
  10. Im sure you were saying that about this season and last season too right?
