  1. Jokes aside, I'm genuinely interested in who Republicans will nominate in their primary. Donald Trump and his many indictments, civil lawsuits, and message of Democracy=bad vs Ron DeSantis who has the charisma of a pickle sandwich? The horde of Trumpers will probably carry Trump, but this should be interesting going forward.
  2. Announcing on Twitter with notorious moderate Elon Musk. This is the sign of a completely serious political party. Announcing on a woke televised station like ABC or CBS is what CRT indoctrinated libs do.
  3. Or certain voters really don't want to think they're voting for the bad guys and rationalize their support for them.
  4. This is like semi-finals at the Olympics fast. Although I don't think Nebraska lands this one.
  5. "But yeah I was chanting 'Lock her up' back in 2016."
  6. Is this an insult right wingers are using now? I don't now what this means. If you're referring to the devastation liberals feel after the bombshell Durham Report completely vindicated Trump, you are absolutely correct! I feel major sads in any report that right wingers latch onto to embolden their support of incredible candidates like Donald J. Trump. I feel really owned that the right wing machine is bolstering around a guy who said live on CNN that he's responsible for the Dobbs decision and that women let you grab them by the pu&&y just a week ago. He should run for President again! He should insert himself into politics as much as possible. He should force every Senate candidate - as a show of loyalty - to pledge that Trump actually won in 2020 and all investigations into him were hoaxes! I'd feel major collusion sads. Like I can't express enough how much I don't want this to happen. My collusion sads are off the charts right now.
  7. This is hilarious. I'm sorry you voted for a guy Russia wanted to elect, a now criminal who grifted the Republican Party into the abyss and has successfully convinced your entire voting base that Democracy is bad, making your party unelectable. I get it, the Durham Report didn't find that any laws were broken by the FBI, that the Justice Department aggressively pursued their case leading to 37 criminal indictments, that nearly everybody in your former Presidents orbit has been convicted of numerous crimes, and that you and @DefenderAO were gullible enough to fall for it all. It was obvious from the beginning what Trump was and now your party is an international laughingstock and a historical embarrassment. I do appreciate the electoral wins you've given us, so thank you for that.
  8. "The entire point was to conclude that the FBI, Justice Department, broke no laws even though Republicans hoped to find illegal wrongdoing. Nevertheless, it felt pretty mean to investigate Trump even though it led to 37 criminal indictments of people in Trumps orbit. Like super mean. Donald Trump is a pretty well known, squeaky clean straightshooter. Investigating him was wrong."
  9. "After a very long time of trying to find wrongdoing we were unable to find anything that was wrong. But it's my opinion that crimes were committed even though I have absolutely no proof" What amazes me is that this is separate from the Congressional inquiry where they also admitted to finding nothing. Of course, why wouldn't they engage in political theater? Republican voters aren't going to change their votes - they're going to find something to justify their worldview. If it's not the Durham report it's going to be CRT in schools. If it's not Hunter Biden personally eating Republican babies, it's drug laced immigrants crossing the border leading to surging crime rates.
  10. Conservatives trying to claw out meaning from the Durham report to fit their narrative is pretty funny. It's like when Congressional Republicans lost all their witnesses to the bombshell that Biden is totally corrupt while in office. The lows they go to and how the Republican electorate rewards them no matter what is hilarious. Hopefully they lose their election.
  11. Exactly. Our O-Line isn't just bad, it's dangerous. Every QB who's played behind it has ended up injured, 3 of which required off season surgery including a guy who ate through a tube for half a year. Why would Dylan want to play behind that if they want to go to the NFL?
  12. I mean, this is hilarious. Part of me wonders if he genuinely wants to know how far he can push things and still get the votes of Republicans.
  13. We're a 20 cent increase in gas prices next summer from the Republican nominee being favored to win. The election is going to come down to 5 swing states, all will be extremely close.
  14. Republican voters, being highly reasonable and who truly care about America, are no doubt going to conclude that Biden is flawed but his "legal" problems are non-existent. They will compare obvious political theater Congressional Republicans have conducted with that of the actual legal issues of Trump and will vote accordingly. Trump is going to win this nomination in an absolute blowout. He may actually call DeSantis a CRT-laced-trans-woman on the debate stage and get a booming applause for it.
  15. The CNN Town Hall with Trump is the Republican Party in its pure, concentrated form. What an absolute mess. An hour of unhinged ranting from a pathetic moron at the head of the Republican Party, a shell of its former self.l remade in the image of the people who vote for him.
  16. I took best efforts to find an article that explained the situation as best as possible. Estimating the amount of successful illegal immigration is pretty difficult. I do think that efforts to cross illegally into the United States is at a high point. The immigration crisis at the border, realistically, is unlikely to change for a very long time. But this thread is about gun violence and the false belief some conservatives posting in here who believe immigrants are to blame.
  17. Illegal immigration peaked in 2007 and has fallen since. Border apprehensions, on the other hand, is at an all time high. This should be regarded as a good thing by voters who care about this issue, but alas Republican voters equate border apprehensions with increased successful illegal immigration which isn't the case. Illegal immigration became a prevalent issue due to Trump. At its peak in 2007, Republicans made it less of an issue is because of an open secret: huge swaths of the economy depends on cheap immigration labor, particularly in agriculture and construction. The recent downward trend in illegal immigration is a big reason there is a large labor shortage.
  18. What? No. Although there is a significant labor shortage that's unlikely to change which could be addressed through better immigration policies. I'm making a case that Illegal Immigrants aren't responsible for gun violence as you seem to believe. Which I provided you with two citations for, as per your request.
  19. Republicans are a serious political party. They are in no way grifting their electoratewith political theater. This is almost as serious as their unwavering commitment to reducing government spending, as evidenced by their steadfast balanced budgets while in office.
  20. I was mostly being sarcastic, but yes. Trumps coalition involves motivating his base to vote in such overwhelming numbers that - combined with large systemic advantages Rs enjoy in elections - propels him to victory. These charges depress further what few swing voters are out there. The truth is, though, an election rematch between Trump-Biden would again be extremely close, decided by 4 swing states all of which likely to be within 1-2%. This is because the Trump base is going to vote no matter what, and that base is distributed in swing states that decide elections.
  21. Yeah, but Joe Biden is 80 years old. That's just as bad.
  22. "If the predator-grooming-CRT-infected-libs keep successfully suing Trump for sexual assault allegations I'll have no choice but to vote for him a third time" -Republican voters
  23. I'm waiting for the poster - who voted for this guy twice - concerned about moral decay caused by Democrats to chime in on this one so I know how to react.
  24. It's going to be interesting to see if this helps his poll numbers with the Republican base a little bit. Or if it launches is poll numbers with Republican voters to the absolute stratosphere. We'll see!
