  1. Colorado State at Boston College postgame press conference -- Jim McElwain -- Sept. 27, 2014
  2. That Facebook stuff is mostly women and high school idiots.
  3. I don't know who of importance lives in south Lincoln, but there is a post on HOL that a lot of cars at at a house in south Lincoln.
  4. We tried the offensive minded coach. Didn't work out so well. So you are saying the defensive minded hire has worked out? lol.
  5. How about we fire Bo and hire a young offensive minded coach that is winning. The game has changed some since Tressel was a coach.
  6. Florida won their national titles when they hired a young offensive minded coach. They have never won a national title by hiring a defensive minded coach.
  7. Florida wants to hire an offensive minded coach and they are interested in the guy at Marshall.
  8. That would be up to the new head coach. He could retain a couple of coaches or want to bring in his own staff entirely. Most of the recruiting class will not be lost either. Some people life with so much fear in life.
  9. I take it your parents still pay your bills. In the real world, there are expectations you need to match to keep a job. Bo isn't getting it done. So we fire Bo and bring someone else in. That is how the real world works. You will find this out once you get older.
  10. Players always defend their coach. Those who don't almost always wait to speak later. This is nothing new. It has been this way for decades when the head caoch is on the hot set. Heck, Florida players twitted out support for their head caoch that got fired.
  11. When people get fired they get a new job. Bell will eventually learn how that works some time later in life. Bo will get paid $7 million ($150k month until he takes a new job and we pay the difference). The assistants will get hundreds of thousands of dollars. Milk cost about $3.50 and I am sure they can afford some bread to eat as well. They will survive, but I'm not sure (lol). If Bell cared so much about his head man the team wouldn't have quit on Saturday against Wisconsin. Bell needs to stop trying to defend Bo so much. With this type of attitude Bell is going to get eaten alive in the NFL with the way they do business.
  12. Pat Forde's column this morning Bo Pelini (38), Nebraska. When Pelini goes to sleep, he must see rampaging red W's in his nightmares. They're on the sides of the Wisconsin helmets, and the Badgers have made trampling the Cornhuskers a brutal art form. Since joining the Big Ten, Pelini is 1-3 against Wisconsin. The victory, by three points in 2012, was in Lincoln. In the three games played outside of Memorial Stadium, Nebraska's average points allowed to the Badgers is 59. Average margin of defeat: 35. Average rushing yards allowed: 450. And that includes the 408 yards Melvin Gordon tattooed into Nebraska's soul Saturday. Faux Pelini could do a better job drawing up a defense for Wisconsin than Bo.
  13. Bo isn't going to be our head coach next year. You can't give up 408 yards to a single player in game coming off a season where people wanted you fired but you were saved by a guy that should go sit on the beach and enjoy the rest of his life and stay away from the affairs and still survive. The players quit on Saturday. It was disgusting. Awful. Disgraceful. Worst performance by a rush defense in the history of the game of college football for a single player performance of the other team when running the ball. Bo should be fired. Remember this is on top of all of the other blowouts, sideline issues with his anger problems, and so much more.
  14. Are you a fan of a B1G team hoping we keep Bo? We gave up an NCAA record yesterday. We already suck.
  15. Baytown, just stop it man. Bo is a terrible CEO. Wisconsin is a one man show and all you need to do is stop/slow down Melvin Gordon and you beat them. LSU did it and Northwestern did it and Western IL did it for an entire half. Other teams have done it as well. We had two weeks to figure out how to stop Melvin but instead we allow him to break an NCAA record.Yesterday was another disaster of coaching staff that is regressing. We are not beating ranked teams anymore.
  16. That's right. Someone has to pay his buyout. Where does everyone think that money is going to come from? Money is not an issue and it is already there.
  17. Screw that. We need a new coach people people. New coordinators and assistants will not work. Florida tired that last year and now they fired their head coach. Again, we need a new head coach.
  18. He isn't making a smart choice. He will be stuck behind a 5-star true freshman that is already their main featured back and many others. He is making a choice of a sudden rush of emotions and not with his brain. http://www.volnation.com/forum/tenne...bussey-20.html I think I found what you are talking about. Hi all, 4-star Kendall Bussey's father has told Nebraska that they can start looking for other running backs and I am hearing that Tennessee if where he wants to play. He loved the visit he took and wants to get back on campus as soon as he can again to commit or he could just outright commit by phone. I assume he's a take for the Vols as they have been recruiting him hard but this might not move as fast as you want simply because Bussey's dad is very good friends with coach Fisher at Nebraska so there is some sensitivity to deal with here and the Vols are involved with other running backs as well. Texas A&M is his other top choice right now but I hear the Vols offer was a dream and he loved the trip compared to his trip to Nebraska for their game against Purdue. More to come as we track this.
