They better keep Brown. That dude produced two guys mentioned on Heisman list at RB, and a Mackey candidate when he was the TE coach. I understand the OC may want to bring his own guys, but it would be a huge loss to not retain Brown.

i can only imagine those two personalities in the same building.... wow! I got my money on Alverez breaking that huge nose of Bo's before the first year was over.

These two are the most important commits of this class, IMO. Busey would be nice, Lee is a monster.... but you can build a defense around these two.

Yeah, saying tearful goodbyes to the players that treat him like a father figure is all about his ego. completely disagree. The university set up a meeting for him and the players on campus for Monday. He refused and sent messages to the kids to meet at a place and time HE wanted to meet. It that's not a control/ego maniac, i am not sure what is.

Bo has always had to do things his way, no matter how right or wrong it is. Its more an ego thing, than anything to do with the university.

No offense, but i doubt they would tell their best friends before the official announcement. fwiw, i don't think patterson would leave TCU for NU. But time and time again, coaches say they havent been contact, arent interested, etc, then take the job a few days/weeks later. This is normal in a HC hire.

There wont be an announcement until at least this Sunday. Its my understanding that they must post the job opening for 7 days before officially hiring for the position.
