  1. He does put a strain...so does Klay, so does KD. Don't tell me if you take Klay and KD off he wouldn't be the next Reggie Miller or Ray Allen, both great players, but not all time greats. Ray and Reggie were great shooters and put a lot of strain on defenses as well, no one would argue they are top 10-15 of all time. The difference between Reggie and Ray to Steph, Steph has another GREAT shooter and the most unguardable player in the game. A guy like West who averages a triple double for the season, not once but twice, doing something that all time greats couldn't even fathom, that's just another level. Just because he doesn't have the team around him to win championships, doesn't diminish that overall he's a much better player.
  2. Great, doesn't mean Steph is a better player overall. In fact, i agree, Russ isn't a great teammate, but he still gets 10+ assists a night, involving his teammates.
  3. That makes him a better teammate, not a better player. And would KD not be an all star without Curry? Would Klay not be a long range assassin without Curry? Would Draymond not be a d^&khead without Curry? Who is Curry making better?
  4. My personal opinion....Melo is HOT GARBAGE and a cancer to a team. Paul George was done with the season and disappeared on them. I really feel the front office is failing RW. That OKC team was on the verge of being the Warriors and it imploded on them. Keep that team together that made the finals, add pieces. Instead they traded pieces away for junk. That Ibaka trade...man, that was awful. Harden forced their hand, but trading him away for what amounted to junk also was bad. The fact they couldn't keep KD also sucked, but that's more likely on Westbrook than management. I have a feeling that's more like a Shaq/Kobe split than front office failure.
  5. I didn't realize we were arguing over this...haha... Rebounding: Advantage Westbrook Post game: Advantage Westbrook Defense: Advantage Westbrook Shot: Advantage Curry Handles: Push Passing: Advantage Westbrook Outside of his range, where is Curry better?
  6. From my understanding, most coaches restrict. A lot of it is, don't transfer to a school on our schedule while you have eligibility left. Like we would have told POB, he can't go to Colorado or Cincy so he can't come back and beat us.
  7. It'll be interesting to see what they do with him this off season. He's injury prone and high salary, not sure how many teams would want him. Boston will be tough next year Hayward staying healthy and that young core with all that experience. At first glance, my choice to come out of the East next season.
  8. Robert Horry has won 7. Havlicek won how many? Pippen won 6. Robert Parrish has 4. Would any of them be better than Curry in your opinion? Where are they on your list? Yeah, Curry won 3, he's a great player on a great team, but he's not even the best player on that Warriors team. It's KD. There's a handful of players with zero rings that I would say are better than Curry, one being Westbrook. Winning rings isn't the indicator of greatest all time.
  9. I wonder how much of this Muller and his team uncovered and passed on to the state to avoid Presedential pardons.
  10. I don't like Curry because, for me, he's just a jump shooter, maybe one of the best we've ever seen, but doesn't WOW me with his overall skills like RW does. KD, is right there, sometimes I think he's so good he looks like he goes through the motions and that moves him down my list, not fair to him, but I'd rather have the guy that puts up better overall numbers and looks like he cares every game. Stockton, I was never impressed with, I think he benefited from Malone and wasn't any better than a KJ, Mark Jackson, Danny Ainge type player. Their system was geared to get him assists to Malone, talent wise I don't think he was that great. Malone makes my top 15 and could easily bump Russ. Hate Shaq for his attitude/effort. He quit on too many teams for me to think he's deserving. Hakeem was right there with Malone and the Admiral. Zeke, I never know where to slot him, he and Pippen are ones I can never get a good idea of how great they really were. Indispensable to their teams, but I never thought they were the best player on the court in any game.
  11. Kyrie just said he won't sign an extension with Boston. I can see Danny moving him and getting what he can for him. Moving him for LBJ would be hilarious
  12. I really hope it's not Houston. Though I think it would be interesting to see how that dynamic would work. 3 ball dominate players trying to co-exist. I think he would be a great fit in Toronto. DeRozan, Lowry and LBJ would be a great team to watch, Serge doing the dirty work down low, while still being able to be a stretch 4. That would be a fun team. Philly would be fun with all that young talent. Just wonder how he would fit without having great shooters in Philly. All I can say for sure is keep him out of LA. DO NOT WANT HIM ON THE LAKERS. It would just kill them for a few years. Though I have heard rumors that the Lakers are trying to lure Paul George, which is likely, and Kwahi Leonard and LBJ to join them. IF, the Lakers could pull Kwahi, then I'd begrudgingly be OK with LBJ ruining my Lakers for a few years.
  13. Dude's averaged a triple double 2 years in a row. That's just insane. He's getting overshadowed by bigger hype, better teams, and bigger markets, plust his FO hasn't really helped him. Guy is immensely talented and dominates night after night. If I have a draft for an expansion team in today's NBA, he's #1 on my list and I don't even think about it.
  14. My ten: 1--Wilt 2--KAJ 3--Jordan 4--Magic 5--Bird 6--Kobe 7--LBJ 8--Russell 9--Duncan 10--Westbrook

  16. I like this new rule as well. Players can compete in up to four games, and still RS that year. Rule goes into place in October, if I read it correctly. Meaning we could have true freshman ready to play against the likes of Illinois or Minnesota or Iowa and the Bowl Game and still have 4 years of eligibility left. I think that's huge for the development of the young players, and can reduce some of the grind on starters later in the year.
  17. A moving story about meeting Anthony, and the type of person he is. The world is a little worse today without him.
  18. I think it stems from the 'greatest college football team of all time fan vote' event on ESPN when he lost his mind when the championship round was the '71 team versus the '95 team. Overall I am a fan of his. Love his insight and I think he calls a great game.

  21. And the Warriors were an Andre injury away from ending the series in 6
  22. I can't even remember the last issue Carl was in, just read the last one, and I'm anxious to see where this Commonwealth/Class warfare story goes.
  23. Start getting your riot gear ready. He gonna die.
  24. Who would Lebron accept a trade to? They would have to gut all their assets to get Lebron so he wouldn't want to go there. He's going to a team that's young, has talent and has cap space. A lot of smoke around him and Paul George going to the Lakers. Lakers have the cap space and some decent young talent that may entice him. Of course being in the West with GSW and Houston will make his path to the Finals extremely difficult. I've also heard that Indiana may be a landing spot for him as well. I have a friend that's a huge Rockets fan, and he thinks they even have an outside chance of clearing enough cap space to sign Lebron. Imagine a team of Harden, CP3 and LBJ against GSW. That would be fun to watch. And on a team full of All Stars, KD still is head and shoulders better than everyone else. He's a freak of basketball nature.
  25. And if I lived in, or near Philly, I would have been one of those drunk fans climbing up the light poles.
