It's nice to get some respect from someone because everyone that finds out that I am a Nebraska fan immediately gives me a dirty look. Unless they are a fellow Nebraska fan and I'm starting to come into contact with more and more of them here in Iowa.

Well if you are told that you have to do it then you really have no choice because it's either do it or it's your job. Redman's right either way it's going to get done.

I really don't even see the big deal in scalping the tickets! If someone wants to sell their tickets and let someone else enjoy the game so be it. I'm a cop and don't see the big deal in it at all.

I looked on there today and seen we were ranked 28th!!! It makes no sense it just seems like sometimes everyone is against us!!!

Welcome FatTire I've been a member of this board since November and have had very good discussions and haven't run into anyone (as of yet) that was a "jerk" the mods definately stay on top of things and I have learned alot from joining this board. Enjoy your time here!!!

Yes I will say that ISU did play a good game in Lincoln and if the QB would have put his pass where he intended it to go we would have lost that game. Having said that I still believe that NU will go into Ames and win. ISU tends to choke in big situations and that has been proven for the last few years. IMO they will feel that once again next year against NU but I still won't take away from them that they are a up and coming team.

I'll watch the games no matter who they are playing! Wheather it's Ball State or USC! You gotta show your support still because that is what this program is all about.

Oh well Michigan fans can once again watch their hopes fade as the rankings get lower and lower for them once again. Besides they shouldn't be ranked that high because he said it best when he said "when was the last time this team lived up to it's expectations!" Well then why are you ranking them so high rank them to their real expectations rank them below 25th!!!

I would rather start out low and then climb the rankings than start out high and maybe lose a few and then fall out of the rankings. I want people to underestimate us that way when we beat them it's that much sweeter just like the Alamo Bowl!!!

I'm surprised someone with ESPN would say anything remotely good about the Huskers! I was very impressed this year with the way Taylor stayed in the pocket and took the hit but still delivered the ball. However I don't want to see him take any more of those hits next year. He needs to move a little in the pocket but I will say he is one TOUGH SOB!!!

No matter what you do there is always going to be a "splinter cell" of fans so to speak that will complain about any little thing that is going wrong with the program. That is what is fun about being so passionate about your team but at the same time I realize it can drive you crazy!!!

I think that this will definately help NU next year and will also build up our confidence even more. We are developing into a good team and illinihusker is right I don't want to beat Texas and USC only because their top players left. I want to beat them because we are just that good. GBR

Yeah that made me laugh he was just upset that his team just got beat by basically Vince Young and his running ability. Also I was really rooting for the Longhorns to win because I was tired of hearing about USC as well. Now that Texas has won congratulations but come next year YOU WILL DIE!!! GBR!!!

That's hilarious I would have to agree with you there. However I do think Iowa will take it to Florida and come away with a win once again. Would I like to see Iowa and Nebraska play...............HELL YA!!! Because once we won the Iowa fans would be quiet for a little bit!!! And I emphasize little!!!

I had a guy at work that wanted to give me tickets to the game but there was no way I could get off of work to go!!! He told me like 3 days in advance that he had just gotten them so needless to say I was pissed!!! But I got to watch the game at home by no means is this like the real thing but I want to get tickets to the Texas vs. Nebraska game next year any suggestions as to where I can get some???

I'm so sick and tired of hearing about USC I could just explode!!! Come January 4th for one day I am a Longhorns fan!!! I hope and pray they stomp the hell out of USC!!!

Hey maybe all the Michigan fans that are whining can get together and have one big cry&hug!!! I'm not talking about the Michigan fan that came on this site and congratulated the Huskers on their win. I'm talking about the crybaby above who just needs an excuse as to why his team lost. They played bad we played good story over next subject!!!

I hope we rank good in the preseason polls but I also have a feeling that we won't be ranked and if we are it will be like 25th. Hopfully we can prove them all wrong and climb back up the ranks by beating Texas and USC.

I would have to agree I really can't wait until next year. I think with Reggie Bush leaving (most likely) and Matt Leinart leaving, USC is beatable. They have won for so long the streak has to come to an end sometime. What better time than against The Big Red! I think next year we will have a better team than we do now and they will know the offense even better. IMO I think we can give them a run for their money. GBR Also I think we can take Texas.

I watched the game again today since I taped it on my DVR (yeah I got problems) and I got goosebumps from seeing so many red shirts in the stands. It was awesome way to go Husker faithful that's how a team travels! It was like homefield advantage!
