There is a saying that gets used during "quarterback controversies" that if you have 2 starters, you don't have one. Maybe the same goes for 6 running backs. Just a thought. Is the same true for 8 Running Backs? I just find it odd is all. We have heard nothing about him in practice, now he might be playing? What are we supposed to hear about practice? The coaches closed the practice to the media once the games started. Yes, there might be guys who can watch practice who aren't involved with the program, but then those would be just internet rumors and people would want to see a link to the source. We heard about Carlos Davis practicing with the 1s.

A victory against Wisconsin would make me happy for 2 reasons. I love Nebraska and wins make me feel good. And I would win some money as I took Wisconsin under 9.5 wins back in August.

I don't understand this sentiment. Stevenson wanted to go to Wisconsin and the coaches wanted him, too. He was forced to look elsewhere when the school wouldn't let him in. I doubt Jordan has any ill-feelings towards the Wisconsin football team. As much as I agree with you, I really doubt that. Just think, WISCONSIN DENIED HIM. How would that make you feel towards them? Maybe he is uber-mature, and really just turned a cheek on the situation. I'd suggest that deep down, he is a little ticked off at the University of Wisconsin. His only chance at redemption is beating the school that turned him down in football... Take it for what it's worth. Effort/fire has seemed to be a problem with this team at. So maybe JS can be a sparkplug.

So I'm going to be in Omaha on Saturday night. Thinking of heading to Barrett's Barleycorn (watch site for the American Outlaws Omaha chapter) for the US/Mexico game. Has anyone gone there for a game before? Is it going to be crazy packed since a) its a Saturday night b) the game is against Mexico c) the game means something?

Agree. If he is head and shoulders above Ozigbo, then great, play him. But I would have thought we would have heard some rumblings out of practice (like with Carlos Davis practicing with the 1s and 2s) if that was the case.

I seriously doubt if that's true. He admitted himself he was out of shape. If he was going to be so upset that he was redshirted, then he should have come in in better shape.Pretty sure he also got dinged (ankle??) in fall camp and missed 4-5 practices.

This makes no sense to me. Burn a kid's redshirt in the 6th game to do kick returns and "maybe some running back duties"?
