I think we fly everywhere now, including Iowa City. Back in the 12/8, we would bus to Lawrence and Manhattan. Don't recall Ames? Fly everywhere else, including Columbia and Okie.

Kiper's update from 9/24 doesn't even have Collins ranked on his top 25.

How can you say he is the 2nd best without ever seeing him have a college carry and coming off injuries? Unless you have watched most practices there is zero way you can claim he is the 2nd best Watching HS film. Good size, runs hard, can run between tackles, has a good attitude, hard worker. Looked good in the spring game carrying the ball. How can you claim he isn't the second best on the team at RB? Strictly because he doesn't get any carries? You can tell by his HS film that he has a good attitude and is a hard worker? Wow. And his HS film was for 3 or 4 years ago? A lot can change development-wise between when you are 16/17 or 20/21. * I'm not saying he doesn't have a good attitude or is a hard worker

I can't +1 this enough. For some reason, fans like to pick a backup as "their guy". And then if "their guy" isn't playing, the coaches must be idiots or there is some conspiracy going on why he isn't playing. And then if "their guy" does get a chance and takes off, they can say/think/feel they are smarter than the coaches. And if "their guy" never makes it, they can move on to "their next guy".

Came in out of shape and had a small injury in camp causing him to miss around a week. Redshirt will do him good imo.
