  1. Quick scan on rivals of guys names that stood out to me as NFL starters. I'm sure I missed a few along to way. From 2002 forward by year: Haloti Ngata Reggie Bush Greg Olsen LaMarr Woodley Adrian Peterson Rey Malaluga Mark Sanchez Martellus Bennett Jonathan Stewart Desean Jackson Percy Harvin Gerald McCoy Matt Stafford CJ Spiller Brandon Spikes Eric Berry Everson Griffen Cam Newton Julio Jones AJ Green Matt Kahlil Kyle Rudolph Michael Floyd Ruben Randle DJ Fluker Sheldon Richardson Trent Richardson Vontez Burfict Sharrif Floyd Matt Elam Jadaveon Clowney Ha Ha Clinton Dix Sammy Watkins Isiah Corwell Keenan Allen
  2. Speculation is that the 19 Gundy referenced does not include the early enrolled. (Is it 4? Lee, Anderson, Williams, and Young.)
  3. Mazour could be a special teams demon a la Brandon Rigoni.
  4. Seems like he is stating a fact to me.
  5. Using some maths, less than 1% of HS players are 5 stars, so it is really surprising that none make the super bowl?
  6. Well, I would guess they will know by next Wesnesday...
  7. There is always attrition every spring. And probably more attrition after a coaching change.
  8. I like Fyfe, but I'm biased because of your 2nd sentence.
  9. Yes he is http://www.theindependent.com/sports/fyfe-keeps-climbing-at-nebraska-now-on-scholarship/article_9bc41aec-30cd-11e4-9df5-0019bb2963f4.html
  10. Everytime I see a Davis twin thread bumped I'm afraid someone is going to post that they are visiting Mizzou this weekend.
  11. I know nothing, but guys going to be seniors that I could see leaving (either "retiring" or looking the grad transfer route): T Allen (injuries derailed him) M Bondi (lost his job with the motorcycle incident) M Finnin (lashed out about Bo leaving) J Keels (hasn't seen the field) D Sutton (hasn't seen the field) And juniors S Cotton (Dad) K Maurice (playing time went way down last year) C Whitaker (injuries and hasn't seen the field)
  12. Being a walk-on, I would guess there is no rush to get to Lincoln this weekend before NSD.
  13. Would love to get Green. Plus we need to keep the Rockhurst pipeline intact.
  14. Decommitted from KU. Word was we visited him while in KC last week. He's a TE/DE. Hmmmm.....
  15. I make sure I stop at a runza every time I'm back in the motherland. I'm a cheese runza guy. And onion rings. Never heard of the onion ring sauce.
  16. IIRC, MSU was onto Drake coming out of HS as well.
  17. Hopefully the Michigan coaches played the same card on Snyder they did on Neal...
  18. That was Mattison (former DC, now DL coach) who said that, right?
  19. Keep in mind Snyder is from the Bay Area, so he may hold Harbaugh a little higher than most. Although it would totally suck to loose him this late after committing to Riley and crew twice.
  20. Bingo. Just like how neither Callahan or Bo change how I feel about Solich. All 3 didn't cut it and needed to go.
  21. Callahan was worse than Pelini, their W-L records speak for themselves. (How the F do you coach Nebraska to 2 losing seasons in 4 years?) Both tried and failed. Hopefully Riley can get us out of this rut and back to big bowl games and winning conference titles.
  22. That is a risky move. Why go to Illinois when chances are Beckman is going to be fired after this coming year (he probably should have been fired after this past season)? Beckman just got a multi year extension. So did Callahan and Pelini before they were canned. Extensions are meaningless in CFB.
