I thought we'd see some more as well but nothing so far. Is the Josh Moore kid from down in Kansas as realistic option for DE? He has visited before. Was committed to OhioSt but switched to KU to stay closer to mom. I know he is a TE/DE guy, but didn't we stop in and see him last week? He had a lot of buzz last spring right? He has an amazing offer list. I would think we could get in the door if he wants to stay close to home.

Is he still visiting Michigan?

Madden was planning to early enroll, but Wisky just told him he didn't have the grades. So maybe there was something to Anderson wanting to leave because of admission standards.

This would be the suck. The kid commits to Riley and staff at 2 different schools. Then Harbaugh swoops in at the last minute and he flips. Grrrr.... He is from the Bay Area, so maybe Harbaugh carries a little more weight for him.

If he he does flip to OU at this point, does it really mean anything? He'll change his mind another couple times between now and NSD.

I don't believe this will be the last one of our guys to get a UM offer. Harbaugh has 6 commits. He's throwing offers left and right and seeing who bites.

I'm pretty sure the guarantee has stipulations about adhering to university policy, and remaining academically eligible. The guarantee is more of an assurance that the football equivalent of a "c" student does not lose the scholarship. And actually stays on the football team. If you quit football after 2 years, you are not going to be on scholarship the remaining 2 years.

I think the 4 yr guaranteed schollys is a little bit of a misnomer. Sure it sounds great, but you can still get around it. Sit a kid down after 2-3 years and basically tell him "it doesn't look like you are going to see the field here. We'll keep you around, but if you ever want to play, you should consider transferring." I'm guessing a lot of kids will get that message and either transfer or quit.

So do we have a chance here?
