A friend of mine, who is well connected said we are getting Matt Campbell. I don’t know who he is connected to, but hinted at Mike Riley being hired before it was announced. I’m really hoping for Scott Frost, but would be happy with HCMC. Thoughts?

My family has season tickets and I have them as well. I will not be going to a game next year if Riley is the coach. I truly think he is a great guy and wants to do well, but deep down I know he will never accomplish a NC let alone a CC. I have a lot of faith in Coach Frost as I remember my father telling me stories about how he was a man among boys in high school. My father was a coach close to the Wood River area at that time and watched him play. He is a beloved Husker and I will give him all the time he needs. I think the U has already contacted him and it’s a done deal.

Please Scott, if you’re reading all of this, come back to us! We have our hopes up for you and will give you time. You have the passion and personality we want! You are a Husker! GBR!

I absolutely love reading posts on this site. I’m currently serving in the military and travel all over the country for schools and missions. Everywhere I go I sport my Husker red and try to find a place to watch the games. The gripe I have is people saying that we are not relavant, we can’t get great recruits, and we can’t get a good coach here. Those that are saying this are wrong. Everywhere I go people of all ages talk to me about Husker football. From the east coast to the west coast people know who we are. I’m telling you Nebraska is still a great brand and the country wants us to do well. We can get recruits here, we can get a great coach, and we can chase Championships. We may not get the 90s back, but we will be a powerhouse again. GBR!

After living in Wayne and then Omaha for the last 5 years, I hate Iowa more than any team. Their fans are always bashing Nebraska, always! Even before we were in the Big 10, I heard them bash on us. I am not jealous of them. They had a great season, but will never win a National title.

Would explain why he'd only be a co-head coach here. Would be difficult to be full time at both places Nebraska and Miami to play on alternating Fridays and Saturdays. FaceTime for one team and be at the game for the other...
