  1. Yes, and it's protected speech under the 1st Amendment. The only way it's not protected is if it can be proved that she intended to actually commit the act (or intended to incite others to do so). Not sure about that. Hopefully the FBI or Cia pays her a visit.
  2. Interesting. To think all these years I've just been drinking chocolate milk to battle lactic acid buildup.
  3. Yeah, this seems over-stated. Saying he "created dissent" is an exaggeration. It seems more likely to me - and has the whole time - that a lot of the reason some guys were having a hard time "buying in" is because our scheme was so bad that when they did what they were "supposed" to do they were getting gashed. And I think changing the scheme this year with much better results but still firing the guy in charge is pretty good evidence of that. Maybe we can just list the players that did "buy in"I don't remember hearing the "no buy in" excuse in the last 4 games of 2015 and the first 8 of 2016. Maybe buy in just ebbs and flows. As Mavric put it, it seems pretty obvious that it was more of a staff issue than a player issue, considering that 3 of the 4 original defensive assistants are gone in just 2 years. S&B alluded to this.
  4. Isn't Rather the guy who "retired " in disgrace due to his diligent reporting of W's college or military record? I forget. Great source.
  5. I agree, crazy right? Just like the comparisons to Nazi Germany... Nice mic drop. Thumbs up.
  6. Is Obama a Chicago native? Yet he considers it his home town.
  7. Hilarious. Kintner sucks and needs to be kicked out of the Unicameral, but his retweet was laughy. Some people need to lighten up.
  8. Except that my provider expressly stated that the increases were due to Obamacare, and the fact they had never, at any time, increased in the 8 years or so prior to Obamacare. Nice try, but in the real world you're wrong yet again. As others have stated, this is complete BS. What kind of plan are you on? Large group, small group, individual? Per Obama, I'm a protected class. Group plan.
  9. Except that my provider expressly stated that the increases were due to Obamacare, and the fact they had never, at any time, increased in the 8 years or so prior to Obamacare. Nice try, but in the real world you're wrong yet again. Yes, there was a one time increase when insurers had to adopt the new provisions of the ACA. It is generally recognized that contributed about a 25% one time increase. But I'm going to have call bullsh#t on no increases in the 8 years prior to Obamacare. About the best cases show 8% to 12% annual increases pre ACA. The only way your premiums weren't increasing is if you were in an employer sponsored plan and the employer was absorbing those increases or your coverage and deductibles kept getting worse and worse. No way in hell premiums were not increasing on a major medical health plan. No chance, unless you're talking some type of aflac deal. Post ACA the annual increases have been the same or more than prior. And I'm not basing this on just my premium experiences. I've looked at all small group plans available in the state of Colorado for about the last 15 years and have had numerous discussions with a broker about what has been happening industry wide. Premiums had been slowly increasing. Very slowly. Co-pays, not at all prior to Obamacare. Don't get me started on the price of meds.
  10. How do you know these people are hypocrites? Just because some people did this one thing, and these other people did this other thing, doesn't necessarily make any of them hypocrites. Unless you know for a fact it is the same person. Seems a little unfair to throw that tag at individuals without more specifics to go on. Do you know these people looked the other way when Trump did something similar or when it was done to the Obamas? Seems kind of like stereotyping or prejudice without further proof. I could complain about the Baron thing (if I even knew what it was) and not be a hypocrite. Personally I think the kids should be off limits and I don't care if they're Trump's or Clinton's or Obama's. A leftist SNL writer attacked a 10 year old kid who happened to be the son of a Republican President. The epitome of and the poster child of the left.
  11. Maybe you should actually attempt to understand what was posted. I'm not sure you understand your own post. Just because something isn't white, it doesn't mean that it is black.
  12. Still early, many kids this late in the process want to talk to their parents, coaches and/or want to declare in a public forum. I understand thinking it over, talking it out with their family and coaches, but I just don't care for the public, NSD announcements. Forget the look@me factor for a second, but if you leave your future program and team mates hanging until the last second, you're really doing a disservice to them and you. That being said, this guy looks like a decent get.
  13. Fwiw, the article I read about Diaco's defense mentioned that he liked DEs in the 6'2" range. The Davis twins fit that bill. From what I recall of most 3-4s, they prefer DEs in the 6-4 and taller, 280 plus pound range. Mick would be that guy.
  14. Fair enough, but the legal issues should affect his employment. And, a guy that has done what he has done had no business mentoring young men. I can agree with all of this. I don't share your like of Langsdorf's play calling, but agreen that a more accurate passer would be beneficial. Stan is the man, barring injury he'll get a shot at the NFL. I like the guy a lot, but I wouldn't bet on him getting 1000 yards next year. I could be wrong.
  15. It doesn't matter what players do other than the ones we currently have on our roster. He gets graded on how Nebraska's WRs perform. Not Tulane's, not a couple of random NFLers. So far NU's seemed to regress under his tutelage. Lol. That's rich. Please let me in on this "agenda" and "bias" you referred to. Actually, it's not.
  16. Lol seriously? Keith Williams has no business at Nebraska? It's ok to have an opposing viewpoint, but for people to take your opposing viewpoint seriously, it has to at least make sense. Pretty sure it was geared towards the OSU guys he brought with. He even says Langs and Cav. There was no connection with KWilliams prior to this job. Not when he references the 4 staff members that have been let go or moved on. Two of those were not Oregon State guys either. He is just delusional if he thinks Trent Bray and Keith Williams have no business at Nebraska. Never said anything about Bray. That being said, his crew didn't take the step forward that I expected last year. KWill is a good recruiter and may be a good coach. I'm no so sure that the play we saw out of his crew in 15 wasn't the residual from his predecessor. They certainly didn't impress in 16 considering that many said it was the best position on the team and the best WR group in the conference. Regardless of his coaching acumen, he never should have been hired due to his legal issues. Even though he was hired he should have been fired after his arrest in Lincoln last fall. That's a total embarassment to the university.
  17. Didn't some of the worst "gun crimes " in our Nation's history come under Obama? Doesn't his alleged home city have one of the highest murder rates? Yeah.....
  18. Except that my provider expressly stated that the increases were due to Obamacare, and the fact they had never, at any time, increased in the 8 years or so prior to Obamacare. Nice try, but in the real world you're wrong yet again.
  19. Considering that most of Riley's original staff had no business being brought to Lincoln, it's no surprise and no credit to him that 4 of the 9 are gone. I remember hearing about how great of a staff this was, experienced and a huge upgrade. Yet they haven't come close to what the previous staff accomplished. The bad thing is that the whole offensive side is intact. None of them have any business being in Lincoln. I'll give Cav and Davis one more year of a pass, but that whole crew is an embarassment. Awful.
  20. Well, it's gonna give more excuses for the current regime for a year or two.
  21. Well, Obamacare has increased my co-pays and my insurance costs, but I don't get any benefit from it. It's a failure.
  22. Which is?Their candidate lost, get over it. It's not about a lost election. Get a clue. So clue me in please. Nah. You can easily do that yourself if you make any attempt at it. I'd like to hear it too. Seriously, what are they wanting to accomplish by walking down a street? O.o Well, Hillary lost so they are throwing a temper tantrum. They hate the President. The end.
