We lost a hard fought contest to an elite defensive team, and had a chance to win if not for a very questionable non call. We didn't though and should have capitalized elsewhere to win the game in regulation. But we weren't 'exposed' and the non call did alter the outcome

I bet your prediction is wrong. I'll guess around 13 it wasn't a prediction, that was where I was hoping we would end up had we won, but we couldn't get the job done. I'm not sure how far we will fall now.

watt didn't have position though he was moving in Westerkamp's direction and blocked his path to the football, because of Watt Westerkamp had no chance to make that catch

Riley loves Langsdorf. He isn't getting rid of him. Also remember how awesome the offense was going to be with "Riley's guys". I love TA but it will be nice having a quarterback that doesn't miss wide open touchdown tosses

Blocked the receivers path to the ball and wasn't looking for the ball himself. Agree he didn't make much contact it looked like though. Hard to say, should have won the game elsewhere though this would have been huge

people want to vilify Langs regardless. 3rd series of the game people complained he just ran it up the middle on first down every time when he had thrown a bubble screen on first down the drive before.

Should have been called, likely would have won us the game but we shoulda coulda woulda won the game in regulation

So you're okay with refs missing obvious calls that have an impact on the game? No but they were not calling much all night! They challenged us in OT with there running game and we didn't answer the bell. Well if watt hadn't thrown himself in front of Westys route he may have caught the ball and we may have answered the bell

I know steps can be taken, but what real implications can any action have? I'm not aware of how these things work

if we get the call it's first and goal at the 3 or 4, definitely made a big difference in the game

Gameday was breaking down some of our offense from the Northwestern game and if we can get the same kind of play from Tommy and no fumbles I think we put ourselves in position to win. We were getting Tommy alot of easy throws and he was hitting them and got into a rhythm. Of course that is always ideal I suppose.

I don't know, they may be down in $EC country as the Bama-LSU game has big implications as of now. But it's odd to come here and look at this board compared to Wisconsins. They all seem very confident in a win. Fans here seem to be back and forth and even those calling for a win acknowledge we may lose. Not that fan chatter means anything, but I think those Wisky fans better prepare themselves because this game is anything but a sure bet for either squad.
