  1. I have CAT6 Ethernet ports at each TV it's just can't use them for YouTube TV since you use the phone app and cast to Chromecast which uses Wifi to connect to your phone. With a service like PS Vue I could plug a Roku for example into the CAT6. I am hoping YouTube TV gets there eventually. Wifi seems to work for now. Although it looks like Google makes an Ethernet adapter for the Chromecast. May give that a shot if I have issues.
  2. YoutubeTV only supports Chromecast and Airplay thus far. Hopefully in the future they add more streaming media boxes so I can test a wired connection. I did find the stats feature last night. It shows bandwidth stats and dropped frames which could be useful at some point.
  3. Watched this game last night, some take aways I had: Granted it was week 1 - defense didn't look stellar, especially in pass game. I think a nice efficient pass game with a respectable run game would handle them fine Shannon Brooks is still a load They have one real receiving threat Tyler Johnson QB play is suspect Only got 1 sack on defense, was expecting a lot more
  4. Your internet connection plays a huge factor in all streams (obviously), The only thing that worries me about YouTube TV is it's using WiFi and I can't leverage a Wired connection. If I have issues with YouTube TV I will give PS Vue a shot with a wired Roku or something. I have 200 Mbps internet so WiFi may never be an issue but I would think the wired connection would be more reliable, less buffering due to connectivity interference. side note: Watched MN and OSU games streaming last night, worked great no issue.
  5. There's no time to make a mental mistake on defense with Ohio St, before you know it 60 yard touchdown. The game last night vs Indiana got out of control REAL quick.
  6. Watching the MN vs Buffalo game right now on YoutubeTV. Has worked well without issue. Early when watching the UCF vs FIU game I had some slight buffering and lower resolution but it cleared up.
  7. I wish Sling had BTN otherwise I would've chosen that because they seemed to have the best overall selection and the only provider with Comedy Central (which would be one of the only non sports channels I care about). I will update later tonight on how it handles tonight's games.
  8. Seems like every outsider loves to translate Lee's stats at Tulane into our W-L this year...
  9. Will do. I will give it a test drive tonight on some of the games. It's worked well for your basic TV show/movie watching thus far.

  11. I have YouTube TV right now going to give it a shot. If it doesn't work well going to try VUE.
  12. It's articles like these that make me hopeful for the upcoming year and think our offense could be the best in the West, but then I go and listen to The Bottom Line Round table and Dirk and Sam are questioning the skill position talent and think the offense will struggle... I just don't see that unless the OLine is swiss cheese all year. Tangent -- If anyone wants a depressing take on the talent this year listen here (around 9:50 mark Dirk says "Nebraska has no difference makers at WR" then continues to pound away on it for a couple minutes): http://owh.backbonebroadcast.com/owh_mp3/POD20170829180346.mp3 I completely disagree but maybe I am just that biased and am overlooking a lot, but I think we have a pretty athletic and capable group of WR

  14. Agree, perhaps the OP was combining Snyder and Hoppes (sarcasm) which could quite feasibly stand a chance to combine for the most yards/receptions. From practice report sounds like TE on crease/slant down the middle will be quite popular
  15. Official attendance of 6,718 per https://www.landof10.com/nebraska/live-blog-nebraskas-second-friday-night-lights-camp
  16. Cal or Stanford would be the closest big name schools to San Jose. Still 5 hours to LA. About 8 hours to Eugene.
  17. Makes sense. Seems excessive either way, but we shall all find out soon enough I suppose.
  18. Oregon State already has 6 WR commits for 2017, I mean he would be their top WR recruit but come on do they really need 7 WRs in one class??
  19. "If I am walking and breathing next week, I'll be okay to play" - Tommy Armstrong post-game. All you need to know about him.
  20. Screens work well when we hit them. Banderas will be missed next year (light turned on late for him but he's dependable now). For whatever reason we give teams 5-8 yard out routes all day every day (works well when we stiffen up on D but frustrating to watch at times). Hope the O Line improves next year because Tommy covers up a lot of issues with escapability. I like winning against MN (I live there and don't need to badgering at work)
