  1. If I dont see McGriff, Rafdal, and Allen all on the field at once in the red zone I will be disappointed
  2. He was the 104th man on the roster
  3. I think these guys are all 6'7 across the board
  4. I know I've made it known my feelings on a certain player who's name rhymes with ruby but I think a lot of people miss the fact that play calling changed when each back was is. It's harder to have a higher ypc if most of the times you get the ball everyone knows you are getting the ball. I also noticed that it seemed any time ozigbo got on a roll they seemed to yank him like "oh, if he's doing well one of these other guys will do better." I guess my real problem is with the coaches and play calling and not the backs. I don't think the coaches did them any favors
  5. Bug eater..... Jk I didn't take the test
  6. 2001 Nortre Dame game. My dad missed my first collegiate start to attend that game. I was playing about 1hr and 30 min away from South Bend and the announcer kept giving updates. Also a at Mich St a few years back when we were trying to come from behind and DPE gave the international sign for stay away on a punt and then the ball bounced right to him and he almost took it to the house but the Refs said he made a fair catch
  7. Julius Peppers says 6'8 is too tall for a defensive lineman so he stopped growing at 6'7
  8. Yeah it was a good thing Walter Payton and Jerry Rice went to OSU and Alabama otherwise they wouldn't have played in the nfl....oh wait
  9. Yet boxers still get knocked out with thick gloves and head gear.. I also played the game and didn't like to wear thick knee pads. In my experience it was the size of the leg the knee was attached to that accounted more for the likelihood of you getting concussed. Not the size of the knee pad
  10. I would definitely have to disagree on that. Unless they are going to change the rule on required thickness of the knee pad.
  11. Well then...... this quote is worded stupidly. Says previous Rule recommended.. then it's not a rule it's a recommendation. I also don't agree with it. I don't think DBs should have to wear them. They aren't taking shots to knees on every play or the lower half of their body like a ball carrier would. Lbs get cut more often and are in the mix more often. But again the knee pad is really just gonna keep you from getting bruised. Thanks for the info tho
  12. Pretty sure that has always been a rule. It's just never enforced. Just like mouth pieces
  13. Not unless they water it 8 hrs a day. The sun just cooks it. I live in NC and moved from IN. Getting my grass to grow and stay alive has been the worst. I'm sure GA experiences the same thing
  14. Maybe the school should just change the mascot to corn huskies. Put a dog head on herbie
  15. I feel like there have been quite a few times when I've watched bookie playing live where he has been bailed out by a bad throw or poor play by a rec where he would have been beat pretty badly. If this ball isn't under thrown it's a big gain. He seems to get praise where praise is not due. Maybe I'm watching something different than Kevin wade but it's not smart to tip the ball up in the air. It looks to me he tried to catch it but didn't quite get high enough. I'm sure Kevin is somewhat joking.
  16. Not that they aren't important but I don't think tackles are as important in the normal sense one would think of tackles especially left tackle with a right handed QB. Mostly zone blocking and little drop back passing in this offense. I would guess guys might be more interchangeable than the last offense
  17. I'ld take him. The only two people I know that played lacrosse and football turned out to be pretty good football players. Jim Brown and JD Speileman (still working on it).
  18. Most offensive to my eyes... he got owned a lot getting blocked by WR considerably smaller than him. He is soft
