  1. Some of the UCF fans are really trying to throw some garbage out there. They are ticked they may lose their coach. It wouldn't surprise me if they are the ones putting some of those rumors out there.
  2. Agree- I said it a few pages back. It is nice to have someone searching and posting the rumors and click bait for those of us too busy to search it out for ourselves.
  3. I could see him playing on Sunday's. Picture him on a team with a good O-Line and a decent running game- would take all the pressure off and he wouldn't feel like he has to throw into double coverage within 2 seconds every play. Wish him the best of luck... I think he could have been a great one if he had the supporting cast.
  4. I think it would be the easy answer for his agent to tell other interested parties that he is staying put instead of saying he is going to Nebraska assuming an opening occurs and they are able to come to terms.
  5. Listen, this isn't something anyone should joke about. We need to let this staff leave without any further bashing on our end imo.
  6. In the form of truck loads of money... and ultimately what Scott has said is his dream job.
  7. I don't disagree... but I believe Nebraska could get him for closer to 4 million/year.
  8. 5.71M per year seems very high to me... I would be very surprised if Nebraska paid that.
  9. Here is your chance to ask Scott directly; https://ucf.forums.rivals.com/threads/coach-frost-makes-weekly-appearance-on-open-mike-at-8-a-m-send-questions.55821/
  10. I'm excited to hear more news but I'm exhausted with it myself. My son plays in the state championship in memorial stadium Tuesday. Think I'm going to read their news for a while... Guessing news will travel fast once something worth knowing comes out.
  11. What are the chances Scott has an account here? I would in his shoes...
  12. I don't know...seems like the job comes open every 3-7 years fairly predictably. Sad to say it...
  13. No way they offer Frost that type of money... The talk guys were implying they would be willing to pay that for an Urban Meyer/Nick Saban type of coach.
  14. ESPNU Talk Radio said that Florida was willing to pay up to 10M per year... Leads me to believe they are after a really big fish. I have no idea how they would know that but they discussed it like it was fact.
  15. Not sure why you guys are picking on jessica0? I appreciate someone out there searching high and low for the information because most of us don't have the time. Keep it up jessica0...thank you.
  16. I am personally flying to Orlando on December 2nd... kind of ironic my wife scheduled our Disney World trip to leave that day. Here is your official offer Scott- Want help moving?
  17. I agree HB. He does seem like he has a great vision for what it is supposed to look like.
  18. To put it bluntly, I don't have the information to even form an opinion. So much of what we see on the field gets blamed on a position coach but we have no way to know if their hands are tied in one form or another. Whoever we hire will get to make the decision and I surely won't lose any sleep over it.
  19. In all seriousness, I would ask him what he felt was the most difficult part of holding the job here at Nebraska. I'm guessing it would have something to do with the fish bowl effect we place coaches in.
  20. I thought this description sounded pretty good to me... I like BM more and more every day. From the Omaha World Herald... https://twitter.com/OWHbigred Here is Bill Moos's response when asked what a well coached team looks like- "They're disciplined, they play with passion, they have focus, they're in excellent shape, they're disciplined in their lives in all aspects — not just in the field of play, but in the classroom and in the community," Moos said. "They are good teammates, they are leaders, they care about how they are perceived, how they look, how they dress, how they talk. All those things add up to the ingredients of a successful program. "And good solid football programs produce good teams. The team is different every year. It has a different makeup. But if the program is solid in the ways I just mentioned, the teams will be competitive year in, year out."
  21. For the sake of the seniors and for Mike, I really hope we kick the crap out of Iowa so they all get a great send off. I like Mike and would love to see him leave on a bright note and of course our seniors deserve a little feel good on the way out.
  22. I'm guessing the LJS will print it for free- no funds needed. Bottom line was he was the best coach we have ever had here that didn't win. Many of us could learn a few lessons from Mike on how to lose gracefully. I am very disappointed he couldn't put it all together because he was by a wide margin my favorite individual to ever hold the position. I wish him the best going forward.
