    Scott Frost would want to coach his team and would bet that is a part of any offer.. We don't need an HC until after the first of the year... assists can handle day to day for 2 weeks..

    there won't be any announcement about riley until after 11/27 and there will be no announcement about a replacement coach until after the new year..

    I see what this stat says but I think the true litmus test is how we, feel about the play... If the kids are coached up and we win the games we are suppose to win and we COMPETE against superior teams, we don't have these discussions as often as we do.

    Take comments out of context much..?? and not real sure what the "buy-out clause" would have to do with a guy that wants to stay at the school that gave him a shot at HC and not just disrespect them and leave them high and dry..

    so you think if frost stays a year or two at UFC his stock will go down..?? I hire guys on a regular basis.... I respect those that ask if they can give their current employer a proper notice...

    I hope as well that Scott Frost heads home, but I also think (and have heard) that he wants to fulfill his obligations to UCF... which is 2021. so I will say that he will stick around for 2 more years and then move on.... once again.... JMHO..

    well, it's my understanding that it should only take 2-3 yrs to turn a team... if you keep riley for 2-3 that gives a new coach 2-3... that is the time frame give or take.. right..? I don't think this decision is driven by the desire to keep Riley as much as it is a desire to get Scott Frost....

    Agreed... I'm not in the "keep Riley" camp at all... but I can see them keeping him in lieu of paying him to leave and Scott Frost wanting to see thru his obligations with UCF. I think Moos will have a hand in any replacements that are made AND if that arrangement is not okay with MR then we may see him "retire"... Again... JMHO
