    Also a good way to have a hobbled QB for the entire conf slate. I like Smother, but running him 20x a game is gonna have him banged up by mid October every season.

    Ole Miss seems like the big domino to fall. That was a very attractive spot, I can definitely see why Ward would end up there. Texas got Ewers. South Carolina got Rattler. Nebraska, FSU, UCLA, Pitt, Cal, KSU, maybe LSU seem like the big players left looking right now.

    Slovis started following a ton of our staff (along with a few other high profile schools). Safe to say we are in pursuit, and in the group of schools he would consider.

    It’d be an interesting choice by Fred to let his boss go public saying they’re ncaa compliant right before a story dropped saying they weren’t. Good way to get fired without pay.

    Yeah usually in these situations the team is successful and the AD has to appease the NCAA and try to keep the successful program in place. Trev can really just s#!t-can the entire staff and say, see NCAA we took this seriously unlike Creighton, Arizona, Kansas, ect, ect.

    Poor guy walked into a situation where not only have the two flagship program been historically awful for the past 4 seasons, but also (possibly) have been committing NCAA violations. Very glad Trev decided to take the job, IDK where we would be if he didn't.

    Ah crazy situation. I thought that was odd as we wouldn’t be going after a kid who got beat out at that level. He would have been a 3 year starter, nice experience to add to the OL room.

    Yeah he started 2018 and 2019 then only 2 starts this year, was he hurt or beat out?

    Interesting, glad we’re looking for help in the trenches. OWH said he only started 2 games for N. Colorado? Seems like he would need to make a massive jump to contribute in the B1G.

    I was a big advocate for Fred but I really don’t care anymore. This team isn’t only bad but really doesn’t even try hard. Just unacceptable.
