I was there for both games, too (my second year). I got to the stadium early for the Alabama game and I could feel the electricity build from the beginning.
I didn't go to too many games after that (besides it was getting cold and I hate the cold). I discovered Dungeons and Dragons, found a group playing in the basement (how proverbial ) of one of the dorms and it was downhill from there on. (now I own a game store in sunny and hot south Florida)
That reminds me of making a joke while playing a game when Harvey was drenching Texas. "Where was Pecos Bill to lasso that ornery ole hurricane and boot it back out to sea for good?" I got several puzzled looks from the younger players.
I felt so old.
So what word is being censored? b.l.a.c.k.s.h.i.r.t? b.l.a.c.k.s.h.i.t? b.i.t.c.h.f.e.s.t?
I'm not keen on wearing all black, either, but I won't be at the game. BTW, that OSU stadium picture looked like a brilliantly lit funeral.
Well, I don't think anyone likes bad food, except those that pretend to like Runza as has been mentioned. I'm also a Nebraska native and never understood the hype, either.
Here's a little lesson:
USF = University of Sugar FIelds
UCF = Users of Cultural Freedoms (UCF is locally known as THE party school of FL, despite what Gator fans tell you)
I'm not making this up.
I wonder how often you all have to wipe the drool off your chins every time you gush over Frost possibly being our next HC.
(do we need a Frost emoji?)
