  7. and Carl Nicks, too

  8. Yup-agent said it is routine maintence. We were lucky, no water damage although the policy would have covered that, after deductable. Estimate is $1500. I don't think that is horrible.
  9. We have a break in our sewer line between the street and our house, but on our property. It is mostly likely (according to plummer) due to a tree root. My homeowners policy excludes back up of sewer or drains for damage by water from outside the plumbing system which backs up through the sewers or drains. My question is if the break is on our property isn't that within the plumbing system that was installed as part of the cost of building the house? Therefore, it should be covered, right?
  10. Sounds mature enough to realize that sitting on a bus traveling around from small town to small town playing baseball in front of maybe 500 people that would rather be at a county fair may not be the right move for an 18 year old. Of course he might get put out by HuskerNation all up in his business, too.

I'm going with the Kindle because it's more like reading a book. The nook runs off a color LCD which is like staring at your computer screen and is thought to have effects on sleeping if you read before bed.

depends what u want - strictly for reading purposes (go kindle) or apps and going online (nook)

  12. Wow- Thanks a bunch. The truck is in Louisiana and currently has a tree growing around it. By motor knowledge is limited, but my husband's buddy(and my partner in crime on this deal) says it's the big engine. It's also a long box. What about the springs? If memory serves, it was a little like riding in boat-up and down, up and down.
  13. I am paying to start the restoration on a 71' chevy for as a Christmas present for my husband. We drove this truck up to about 6 years ago, when I parked it in the yard because the brakes failed. My husband always said that he was going to fix it up as it has sentimental value. It was his grandfather's truck and he died this week so I thought what a great gift. My question is, how many different people should I contact to restore this truck? A mechanic first for sure, then a suspension person, and then bodywork? Does this sound right? Obviously it needs brake work, but can you guys give some ideas about what else will need to be replaced after sitting so long? I found a mechanic and I am going to have it towed in on Monday.
  14. The university just started a program where you can donate a ticket to a serviceman stationed in san diego. This is an obvious and very creative attempt to sell our seats. I think I might just donate one
