I went in 2002 or 2003, and we lost. The stadium was small, but the fans were mostly polite. It will not take you long to get to your seat. They have a nice area to tailgate in, but the atmosphere as a whole is just a peg or two down from major college towns. There is a real lack of bells and whistles.

He will play sports, and in the beginning probably a good bit of the usual youngster sports. One, being active is so much better then watching tv. Two, as I think some previously said, I will know where he is at all times. Three, its family oriented and has a large social componet. I, however, will not be upset if he chooses golf and tennis to persue when he gets older(highschool)or even art or music. The art or music thing is highly unlikely given his genetics, but my point is he will not sit and get in trouble.

That is brillant marketing. I don't why, but my radio is nearly a full two plays behind the tv. Could it be because its an internet feed and not the actual radio?

It should we would be nice if Texas would decide they want to win out. Although watching them get beat by Iowa State and Baylor was fun, it didn't do any justice. I don't think they can redeem themselves, but one or two more losses by them really hurts.

Definite possibility...there's plenty of social contact between coaches, analysts, etc. that we never hear about...Did you hear that Cunningham had an interview with Carl the week of the Mizzou game? I wonder how that went!? ha! I think someone posted in one of the threads that Cunningham stated the conversation as being "constructive." hehe ok going on with the train of thought- Cunningham and Pinkel are old buddies. Cunningham got some heat from the network about his needless and unending bashing of Courtney Osborne, so fearing some network sanctions, calls ole buddy Pinkel to ask him to askthe league to review the play(even thought he knows it was just a really, really good hit). Now, because other people are questioning the hit, then maybe he will save his arse and reputation with the network. Then a protected Cunningham offers Pinkel a spot in the booth, should he ever need it.

Do you think that Cunningham contacted Pinkel to have it reviewed? I am being serious. While it was a hard hit, I can not think it would be necessarily noticed and persued by a head coach without some "help".

I need some advice. We would like to plan a trip to A&M. For those that have been there, do you have some suggestions on where to stay and maybe tavens that we should visit pregame. Also, is their fan base hospitiable? We are leaning towards a hotel room, but would consider an rv spot

Coach C.P. also mentioned how he stayed true to rotating players, something he has had trouble with in prevous games. Of course some of the rotating was mandatory due to injuries, but the d looked fresh all game inspite of a freakishly long-feeling game and yes- it was the spinner.

I think he called it the "Stinger" in his post game presser. Said they put in during the week and that working on something new really energized the players.. Basically it is three down lineman with a fourth in the up position and that makes them have to account for another mobile guy. I think the change was brillant, cuz this could have been a whole different game if we get don't pressure Gabbert. Suddenly those three or so passes that were thrown two steps beyond their WRs might have perfect catchable passess had Gabbert had more time. Not taking anything away from the brillance of the secondary, as they made their presence known in a loud way, but I was pretty darn proud of the constant pressure Gabbert was under. I think this new wrinkle really baffled Missou. At least initially

WOW- i don't like giving legs to the conspiracy theory either, it's kind of whinny and like we're pre-making excuses. But I think we have to assume we are playing with a target on us and just play with such intensity that we can overcome such idiocrasy from the officials, both on the field and in the booth. BTW- i found the officiating horribly inept in this game. I don't know if they were biased or not, but they didn't look qualified to officiate a college game. Not sure who the crew is, but they just looked lost all day.

I'll leave it up to the coaches as it seems they are bringing him along nicely. Carl said in postgame interview that they completely changed the D this week and he told the players whoever wants to play this week make it known in practice, and these were the guys that stepped up and practiced lights out. You gotta love depth and competition
