FINALLY!!! I got home early enough to bump this thread when drunk. On a rant though and considering posting on my facebook the following: I am no longer free for happy hour on Fridays. I did not grow up in this state and I do not want to hear your endless drivel about LSU, Cajuns(although harmless), Southern Miss(although Harmless), Texas(Harmful), or any other team. I love to college football, but try to work in "Nebraska" in your endless college football posturing, mainly because I am sitting there in my Nebraksa shirt and I bought you a drink. I know that you cannot find NEbraska given a US map, but please be polite, you arrogant ass. Looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday.

I don't think Cox is going to carry the game in my area. Will Huskers.com have it and if so, what do I buy as a cord to hook my laptop into our TV? Our Tv is new and internet ready, so perhaps I could get Huskers.com on the TV? I tried a few years ago to plug my computer into my tv to watch a game, but the picture was crap. I think having a new tv and new computer might make the picture better.

I googled it and got last year's schedule- $79.95, guess it would be about the same.

Well I should have read the full the article. I don't think I can get cuz we have Cox cable and I don't think they do PPV outside of the region. Anyone know if this is true?

I don't know if it's been posted or known, but we are on PPV next week. Looks like start time is 6pm. Great news for us out of staters

I know you said she is not a sports fan, but can you do a tradeoff? Like one afternoon of being a BleacherBum at Wrigley for a trip to Ikea in Schaumberg? Games at Wrigley are so special, get their earlier and listen to fat guys in the bleachers give the other team hell when they are warming up. Plus if you like your beer, be a little nostalgic and drink Schlitz- its cheaper and it tastes so bad you won't have too many. The Museums are special- second only to New York. Even the kids musuem is fun. I literally sat there and watched chicks hatch for an hour. The pizza is the best- I much prefer deep dish and I think the one we liked was Ginos. It was in a basement under the train and rumbled everytime the train came by. Then there is Rush street if nightclubbing is your thing. Note- it's been 10 years now since I've been and things have probably changed.

Good question. I can't decide between singing and golf, but would settle for not being great at either, but for being average at both.
