As a Husker, I think a rivalry should be based on mutual respect. This may not hold true for other schools; theirs may be based on intense hatred but as a Husker I like to think I am looking forward to playing a team and not looking forward towards hating a team(and their fans) That is why I want to see us find a way to play Oklahoma every year. My dad tells great stories of the creative and imaginative things that husker and sooner fans did to each other; good spirited things, not mean. Wouldn't it be nice to have that relationship again? Colorado selected us- this is not a rivalry. Plus they smoke too much dope to be knowledgeable fans. Missouri- wishes bad things happen to us even when we are not playing and this is not a rivalry

Tough one- three come to mind: 2001 Colorado loss, 2001/2 Miami loss, that aweful loss to Tech in 2004. I wouldn't change the FSU game. I think that heartbreak loss set the stage for the next two years

Bo is As Nebraksan as a Person Not From Nebraska Can be. The Opposite of this is As Not Nebraskan as a Person Not From Nebraska(Callahan) and As Not Nebraska as a Person From Nebraska Can be(Pederson). I like Bo just fine because he seems to get us and our tradition.

I wish it were Oklahoma, but no way since we don't play them every year. By default it must be Missouri. I just wish I could respect them like I do Oklahoma

Doc's practices are not "too hard." Players love Doc, that isnt the reason they arent sticking around. I can say this with full confidence, as my cousin played for him. Doc is fine. Im not happy with how Big 12 play has started out, but come on, this team is still 12-6 at the moment. Geesh. Its Nebraska Basketball. Say that out loud, "Nebraska Basketball." Everything will be okay. Yes,but thats what we said about womens basketball for years about being a joke. Now look where theyre at.. WHile I am thrilled about the women's basketball program, I'm gonna wait to make sure they finish strong and keep it up next year before I pronounce a turnaround.

Isn't Lincoln like a black hole for Basketball? Seriously, good coaches (Barry Collier) come in and nothing ever changes. IMO it's attitude of being satisfied with a few big wins every now and then, held by the fans and the University. Research the posts for the Kansas game and one poster added that the Husker's being up by one at half was like a win. Low expectations held by us will make any coach gravitate towards mediocrity.
