  1. I just love these types of headlines. We see a lot of them with this staff. NU staff trying to find a way to score more points than other team NU staff trying to find a way to stop clock near end of game NU staff trying to find a way to keep clock running at end of game NU staff trying to find a way to increase rushing yards without running the ball NU staff trying to find a way to get more sprinkles on cupcakes
  2. They're also going to naturally give up more yards than most teams because the other team has more possessions than they do against most teams, due to the UCFast offense. When you score fast, you give the othe team that many more possessions in a game. Having said that, UCF is still #30 in Total Defense and #17 in Scoring Defense.
  3. More like -1/-1 pick'em. The neutral field spread is right around Purdue -3. Then you give the home team an additional -3.
  4. The next year should have been an even bigger red flag. He had the worst turnaround from Super Bowl to dumpster dweller in NFL history and he had to hire body guards to protect him from his own players as he walked to his car after practices. His SB season was already a year in the past when Pederson hired him.
  5. It's a joke. If your post was racist, the mods would've removed it immediately. I'm a little surprised they haven't removed mine yet.
  6. This "first tier" talk makes no sense. That's why I didn't bother reading the article. Give me a name. Just tell me one of these "first tier" coaches.
  7. Nebraska 15 Purdue 36 Pass 256 Rush 87
  8. That's part of TO's Nebraska blueprint, evolving the offense to keep up with the times.
  9. That's not a good comparison. That's random action by a machine. Football spreads are developed by humans analyzing a game played by other humans, and if they consistently over or underestimate the spreads for certain teams, it's a trend worth looking at.
  10. It's a sign that the sportsbooks are consistently over or under estimating a given team. When you have a big difference between the two teams ATS, it's worth considering.
  11. We're far enough into the season that ATS (Against The Spread) becomes a stat worth looking at. A lot of smart bettors wouldn't put money on Nebraska this week because of ATS. The books may also have adjusted the points up slightly due to the lopsided ATS for the two teams. Huskers are 2-5 ATS. Purdue is 5-2.
  12. I keep hearing this "What if Frost doesn't work out? Will they give him enough time?" I have answers. If he doesn't work out, than everybody here is wrong and they fire him. They'll give him as much time as he deserves. If he has two losing seasons in his first 3 or 4 years, he'll be gone. And I don't think there's any chance that will happen. Frost really is a natural superstar coach. And I don't care if you don't like to hear it. You can wait until midway through the 2018 season to see it with your own eyes. Look at Purdue. Brohm is a good coach. That place was a disaster. They have the #71 ranked 24/7 Talent Composite. And in year one, he's got them playing the Huskers as a touchdown favorite. That's what good coaches do. Riley is a bad coach. Bad coaches squander talent and leave fans feeling hopeless and scared. Fans wonder if the players were overrated. They wonder if they've been ruined by bad coaching or their minds poisoned. A good coach will fix that quickly. Frost is a brilliant coach. Not only is he a brilliant football mind and incredibly organized, but more importantly he's also an incredible motivator. I'm not saying he'll win an NC next year, but he'll get us back to at least 9 wins and improve on that the following year. And most importantly, he will have the team playing good, motivated, focused football
  13. In only 2.5 years, Riley has the Huskers playing as a TD underdog to Purfreakingdue. Purdue's 24/7 Talent composite ranking is #71. And they have a 1st year coach. The debate is over.
  14. I think there's a good chance UCF makes a run at Chinander for HC.
  15. Brett Favre can throw a football 70 yards. Scott Frost can throw Brett Favre 75 yards.
