Napier is basically telling LSU to s#!t or get off the pot. He's their Plan C, and he's sick of waiting around for those in front of him (Riley & Aranda) to accept or decline. Word is that if Oklahoma loses Bedlam, then Riley will take the LSU job.

bingo. Some of our fans are delusional. Nebraska isn't the destination that many of our fans think it is. Not to mention, Frost hasn't shown that he's willing to take a risk on someone he isn't familiar with. Like Riley, he prefers to hire his buddies that he's worked with before, which is why Helfrich is rumored to be his top target.

It’s a step backwards, and no coach wants to do that. If you want a former HC for OC you’d have to get someone like RichRod. Solid OC but not a good HC.

From what I've been told, it's pretty much 100% that we're pursuing a transfer QB for next season. Frost's career as HC is riding on it, so he needs to land a top-tier QB in the portal.

It's really not. A lot of the time, the player comes back even stronger. I had a QB who tore ACLs in both knees in back-to-back seasons, and he still made it back and played D-1 Power 5 football. Plenty of current NFL players who have have torn their ACL one or more times.

PLEASE stop mentioning Herman and Napier for coordinator positions. Both guys will be up for top-tier HC positions in the near future, and it would be a step down for either to come here. Itd be an insult to offer a coordinator position... truth be told, there's a distinct possibility that neither of them would even be nterested in our HC position if it were offered.

This is pretty much the standard formula, every game. The leave so many points on the field and then it comes back to bite them at the end.

My biggest concern is that next year we'll go 6-6, it'll be considered "progress," and it'll only prolong the inevitable. I just want to see what transfer QB we land, because that's the guy who could make or break Frost next season.
