    I like the brand of football KSU is playing under Kleinman. Tough, hard nosed ball that would fit well in the B1G. I wouldn't be the least bit disappointed if Trev trotted him out as our new coach and would also much rather have him than Kiffen.

    I'd prefer Fickell or Kleinman but it looks like the Rhule is all but a done deal from what we've been hearing.

    Can't really agree with a lot of this. While Callahan did take them to the 2002 SB, the 2003 season was an unmitigated disaster. He lost the locker room which was ready to mutiny against him and ended up being fired. The "dumbest team in America" comment will never be forgotten. He was a desperation hire by Pederson after every other coach he contacted turned us down. Bo was a hot commodity as a DC but had zero HC experience. And even though it ended up working out pretty well I wouldn't consider him a top pick when compared to others coaches with previous HC experience.

    Jimbo is now the wild card. A lot of money but this is from the start of the 3rd qtr. today. Devastating. I don't see how they can accept this even if it costs $84M to buy him out.

    Yeah, especially with the $1 for the first year deal they had running before the season. It took a lot of personal sacrifice but I was finally able to scrape together 4 quarters (2 from the sofa & 2 from the car) to join up for a year
