I have zero inside information, but for mickey to sell coleman to come here i feel like he knew who the next coach is going to be and mickey felt pretty good about his chances of sticking around here. that leads me to believe arnanda is gonna be the next coach, and he'll keep mickey and busch on the staff. the associate AD refuting the arnanda rumor makes me think even more that it is him.

i don't think anyone in the local media has a clue. not 1 of them predicted mike riley...

i'm praying for urban, lane, or peterson. none of the other names i have heard excite me at all.

FYI, the 1 good year rhule had at baylor, they didn't beat a single ranked team. would be the most overrated hire ever IMO.

lol. people outside of nebraska don't even know who mickey joseph is. he's not getting a power 5 head coaching job next year.

it makes no sense to keep mickey when there are proven winning head coaches available to be hired. if he surprised us all and lead us to the big10 championship then i could see why it would make sense to keep him. but simply put this team is going nowhere. even if he had just made a bowl game i could have seen the argument. but beating indiana and rutgers does not warrant giving someone a head coaching job.

i would say we have a better shot at kiffin than heupel... tennessee is a way better job than ole miss the kiffin family has lots of ties here.

the bar is so low here and the money is so great that there's no reason we can't get an amazing coach to come here. trev would have to have a big ego to screw up this hire.

i know we have the money, but if we're paying that much i'm not sure arnanda is at the top of my list.

we'd have to pay arnanda close to 10 million...he had 1 good season at baylor, and they were already good before he got there.

i don't think arnada is elite and i don't think he'd leave baylor to come here.

i would rather just keep MJ unless we're getting urban, kiffin, or peterson.

the university threw away 7 million to fire frost 3 weeks early.... they have the money to get anyone. the fans should not accept a mid tier coach... i don't think leipold, arnada, or campbell are guys we should be looking at if we are serious about being a contender... most would agree nebraska is still the best job available right now, and we've had more time than anyone to interview coaches... we should get the best coach available. auburn and a&m seem to be the only other 2 jobs that might come available that might be considered better than nebraska. and with a 3 month head start we should be able to beat out those schools for a coach. the expectations are also much lower at nebraska than at auburn or a&m right now.

mickey is not getting the job unless we win the west which looks very unlikely now.

casey is painfully average. we would be at least 6-1 with martinez.

next 2 games should be fun!

iowa and illionois are looking very beatable. purdue might be the toughest game left on our schedule besides michigan.
