There probably is. I just think that most, myself included have accepted that it’s going to be Biden. And if getting behind the candidate that ultimately opposes Trump In November is your M.O., then why continue to spread “dirt “ on said candidate?

There’s too much momentum behind Biden at this point, so barring any major event, it’s his nomination to loose. I agree on your point about holding those in power accountable, but posters on HB debating accusations doesn’t accomplish this.

I can only speak for myself, but I feel like others would agree that there is no point in discussing it. Have we actually lowered ourselves to the point of debating which candidates sexual assault is more acceptable than the other’s? It’s not my preference or likely yours either, but the fact is it has come down to either Biden or Trump. One is bad and the other is worse. It’s up to everyone to decide for themselves which one is which. So unless there’s credible accusations that Biden has done worse things than Trump allegedly has done, then all this just comes across as sour grapes from Bernie supporters.

Peanuts compared to what Trump has been accused of. Bernie lovers need to accept and move on. Looking for ways to bash Biden when the alternative is another four for Trump is mind boggling. Unless, of course you prefer Trump. In that case, bash away.

I wish Fauci would stand up to Trump’s misinformation more. Trump isn’t firing Fauci, because that would cause an enormous uproar. Pretty much guaranteeing Trump’s defeat in November.

To be clear, I think any member of congress, R or D, who sold stock because of this should be investigated But this is just classic Trump.. Trump asked about senators who sold stock ahead of the market collapse: Trump: "I'm not aware of it" --then goes on to discuss it.---Lie Trump: "I guess it was Diane Feinstein and a few others" -note she's the only Democrat in this group of senators Reporter: "to clarify the group also includes Richard Burr...and Kelly Loeffler..." Then Trump goes on to accuse the reporter of failing to mention Feinstein's name, when that hypocritical a$$h@!e just did the exact opposite and mentioned only Feinstein's name earlier. It is annoying that the Chinese propagandists are doing this, but unless Chinese leaders are blaming us, Trump should just take the high road on this and ignore the Chinese media.

I agree. It is hard to envision an acceptance of going from "no more than 50 person gatherings" to packing 50-90K stadiums full of fans in just 6 months. If that is to happen, things must really turn for the better in the next 4-8 weeks. As far as football and any potential cancellation goes, I actually feel worse for high school teams than I do college. At least in college they could possibly be granted an extra year of eligibility. I'd be bummed because my local HS team is supposed to be pretty darn good this season.

Do you not think he brings this general narrative onto himself by what he says and the fact that he has taken absolutely zero accountability for anything, ever? I agree. Especially if classes go to online only. Maybe the practices can be made up in the summer. Although by then the decision on whether or not to have the season may already have been made. I suspect we’ll know about practice in the next couple days.

It’s a fair question and could very well happen. What transpires in the next couple of months will be very important. I mentioned the sellout streak possibly at risk in another thread last week and was basically ridiculed by a couple posters.

How so? Because people will pay more attention to politics because there’s not much else to watch?
