I tend to think N keeps it close in the first half with Michigan ahead 14-7. But Michigan pulls away and wins 28-7 when it’s all said and done.

I think Rhule again will look to the transfer portal for a QB for next year. Hopefully he makes a better selection. So far Sims is a bust. Daniel will likely not be ready to start.

A lost is a lost. I get that. This one felt different than.previous MN losses. MN wasn’t more physical than Nebraska. N’s OL wasn’t great, but it didn’t get dominated like it has in the past against this team. N looked better conditioned to me than in the past, and without the turnovers and penalties, they win. The D line didn’t get pushed around like in the past. It seemed the best team didn’t win tonight. But I agree if Sims continues to throw pick offs and the penalties continue, it will be the same oh story.

N looks more physical.

Whew! When I saw this one, I was worried he had Miami in consideration again.

I was surprise to see Fleeks on the debt chart. He must had worked his butt off to come back.

He had a rough night against Omaha North in a 25-7 loss. 18 out of 39 for 166 yards. Apparently he had no time to throw and was always on the run. And one pick.

Then those two need to remind him why he committed to N. But decommits are part of recruiting.

I wonder if Wager was his main contact.

I know some think in the media that Kemp will be the workhorse. I see him as a possession receiver more than a home-run threat. Yes he is supposed to be shifty and quick, but I believe I read his longest play from scrimmage is only 33 yards. Not a put down by any means, but he is definitely someone to find and throw to on third and long. I expect he will be productive.

I supposed they would still take even if Brix commits.

I wonder what Frost did to cause what I believe were three four-star recruits from Florida to abruptly leave fall camp after N achieved a top-15 recruiting ranking. I believe two were DBs and one was a linebacker.

I will keep my hopes high on the Kaelin and Nelson connection. It seems without those two committing, we would probably not have this conversation.

It appears the battle with Miami will continue. Hopefully the N coaches stay in close contact with him to keep Miami from flipping him.

If there is one missing piece to Georgia’s national title last season is they didn’t play Bama. Plus they were 1 and 1 the previous season against them. Don’t get me wrong, Georgia is great. I’m just not ready yet to say Bama is chasing them since the Tide has won three out of four against Georgia with Smart. If Georgia can beat them again, I might be ready to say that.

But if Brix and the kid from Hawaii both commit, would he still be on N’s list?

That could be, but Callahan said Kaelin and Nelson are very close to him. I still feel real good about this one.
