  1. OkSU is ready to make a move before Texas and OU can. This is going to get out of hand quickly. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.saturdaydownsouth.com/sec-football/oklahoma-state-issues-strong-response-to-report-ou-texas-reached-out-to-sec/amp/
  2. Anyone that can make their opponent make a face like this... gets my vote for must have recruit.
  3. I really, really, really want Texas in the SEC! Yes please! They’ll never win another d@mn championship... ever. OU needs to ditch the Texas stank and move in with the BigTen. We’ll take them and OkSU. Mission accomplished
  4. NEB 56 - Illinois 24 (Defense will be pathetic scheme for Illinois under Bret.) Fordham 10 - NEB 66 (7-7 to start the game, Husker fans lose their shiz and settle down with blowout) Buffalo 17 - NEB 42 (This team is not the team of last year (meant for both teams). Game over) NEB 17 - OU 35 (close through the first half, NEB doesn’t make halftime adjustments) NEB 42 - Mich St. 14 (Give me a break... This team’s defense is sliding backwards and the offense is one of the worst in college football.) NW 21 - NEB 24 ( OT thriller) Mich 14 - NEB 38 (Mich is so overrated this year. They lost their #1 RB, and they only averaged 3.5 yards per last season (terrible o-line). Take away the first game, and it drops below that. Their WRs are all below 6’0”. Sound familiar? Improved NEB Defense scores 2 TDs this game.) NEB 35 - Minn 21 (they lost a lot of talent, PJ fleck starts showing he can’t recruit) NEB 35 - Purdue 34 (This is a huge letdown game that we nearly lose. We should throttle them with our momentum) OSU 42 - NEB 28 (Too much talent.) NEB 17 - Wisc 14 (frozen tundra game, tons of turnovers, Huskers finally break through) Iowa 24 - NEB 42 (Iowa never wins another game in NEB) Dang it... Did I just try to justify a 10-2 team? Okay... feel free to laugh
  5. October frosts, river frosts, light frosts, or severe frosts?
  6. Just wanted to fit in. Wait, what are we sarcastically laughing about again?
  7. The offense isn’t complicated... it’s a good sales pitch for sure.
  8. Riley losing to BYU was his greatest sin. I had to buy and wear Jesus jammies (slang for Mormon undergarments for those who aren’t aware) for a full day during our fishing trip after losing a bet to a Mormon friend. The first and only time in my adult life I intentionally tried to sh!t my pants. Lessons of this story? 1. Nice guys finish last. 2. ALWAYS fulfill your bet requirements/promises. 3. Never take just one Mormon fishing... they’ll drink all of your beer. (Joking... it was soda, and that’s still up for debate if it’s really a sin or not according to him. I say get that caffeine high...)
  9. ASU’s recent issues scared him off there. There are some strong signals that he is going to Mizzou. Drinkwitz is killing it at Mizzou. This year’s class is really good. They’re bringing in some good transfers too. In 1 season, he’s already changing the culture and the atmosphere. They’re bringing in kids from St. Louis that they could never land before. That’s what I had hoped to see in Lincoln 4 years ago. Missing these kids will continue to set us back. IMO, this one hurts more than any other instate recruit we’ve missed on in the past 4 years, because it’s been long enough to reverse the trend and improve.
  10. You remind me of a car alarm going off in a gated community at 3am. Does anyone else know where this dude’s key fob is? Someone needs to press that panic button again to make it stop.
  11. This would be very interesting
  12. It’ll be okay. She’ll end up in the wife transfer portal before too long.
  13. Why are all of the beat writers acting like they know something else is going on? This seems strange.
  14. Is that a remix of Sade he has in his background music in the video? It makes sense, because it’s the only thing slower than him running. He should have gone with “Smooth Operator”. Oh well...
  15. Seven feet three inches in diameter and three feet nine inches wide. Made by the Leedy manufacturing company in 1921. A paper from August 6, 1921 shares the dimensions. It’s the only known place the dimensions were recorded, as Purdue made it a “trade secret” upon receiving the drum. That means both Texas and Mizzou have bigger drums, by far. Next time we play Purdue, I expect someone to have a sign that says: 7’3” x 3’9”
  16. The “greener pasture” turned out to be a turd farm. Yikes!
  17. 8 teams with relegation is the answer I’d love to see. Hear me out before you throw me out - In my ideal state - Each Power 5 conference is connected to a group of 5 conference: ACC to AAC Big Ten to MAC Big 12 to Sunbelt PAC 12 to Mountain West SEC to C-USA The worst team every year in the SEC drops into C-USA, but (the exciting part!) the winner of C-USA moves up into SEC. If there is a tie for last place... bowl game (or should we call them Blow Games)? Why in the hello Carl? This gives an opportunity for those group of five teams to develop into something bigger. It creates an opportunity for them to compete on a bigger stage, make more money from TV deals, and creates some crazy incentives for those bottom feeders who are always at the bottom of each P5 conference to step it up. Relegation = parity. Most importantly, every game matters in the regular season again.
  18. This is a great catch. Time of possession is huge. I had no idea we had that many plays against Rutgers, but it sure did feel like we had the ball a lot.
  19. Huskers stats - REDZONE: 30 of 35 converted. 20. Would it be possible to change my name to “Courtesy Flush” ? I shouldn’t have used my last name and I’m a bit worried about it now given my new job. Thanks Guys!
