  1. Walking through them now, the defence has collapsed. One of those pundits on TV predicted this. Let's hope they go back to freaking TRYING.
  2. Opposite of what I thought would happen.. thought these mistakes would be in the first half and ironed out in the second. It appears the Huskers are being rattled in the second half after a fairly good first half with few errors.
  3. Ahh! Nice!! Get as many points in as you can, boys, before they twist Adrian's ankle again., (just kidding.. I hope)...
  4. Nobody on d heard the whistle and just kept playing = Personal Foul on Nebraska. Ignited the Buffs.
  5. Nebraska 48 Colorado 24 Rushing 195 Passing 245
  6. Big second half for us. We'll score most of our 48 points then. They'll score about 21 or so. Maybe 24.
  7. We haven't been to Boulder in ages.. last time it was T.O. coaching and we beat them nicely. Several things I remember about the atmosphere there: The walk up to the Field House past the frat houses was silly, they were yelling things about Lawrence Philips and they had a big Monopoly "get out of jail free" card signed by T.O. That as about it. Words (similar to the typical Ames experience). Now they're threatening to throw body fluids at Husker fans? Take pics, Husker fans. Take lots of pics.
  8. Sea Of Red in Boulder. Love that. GBR!! Huskers 48 Fluffs 21
  9. Thank you for your work and creativity here, Chad. Thanks for filling us in on the whys and hows of the passing of the baton to the new owner. I'm new here in this iteration as my old id was not available when I went to re-join, but I've been in and out and kept up with the place over time and find it to still be the best for Husker fans. New old guy.. er, old new guy, - HM
  10. "..Saturday was not indicative of what the offence can do." Absulutely, the CU coach is right. But the Buffs have to practice on what the Huskers tried to do, I'm thinking. Also, after we laughed at the notion of Mr. Frost having his team play on fewer of their schemes and plays, I did begin to wonder if coaches still do that with a bigger game next on the schedule. It seem like the old mistake of looking past a seeming unworthy opponent which can be risky.. but saving a few things just for Colorado doesn't seem totally out of the question. I'm not really trying to make a case for that so much as just wondering.
  11. My wife's work friend's says her husband is convinced the Huskers held back the better part of their play book in the first game so as not to tip off Colorado. We laughed.. but....
  12. Many here are like scientists about Husker football. I'm humbled. But I do have my opinions and worries and hopes. My worries have been about our defense for a long time. No matter our scoring and our talk about this or that QB or WR etc, we've given up games on porous defense and horrid Special Teams play over the years. Now our conditioning looks better (WAY better by reports and just by listening to and looking at our new HC), and perhaps our speed here and there. But yes, I'm worried that we'll have a productive offense of improvement, but still be busted through at the line giving up third and 8, etc. I need a Husker scientist to dispute that and put my mind at ease.. at least a little bit.
  13. Moos said he wanted 6 wins ("expected" 6 wins? I forgot the quote, but sure remember the 6). My thoughts were pretty close to that at 7 for a great improvement over last season and 2017. It's been 20 years now since we were relevant at all, but things are in place now for getting to our used-to-be. I still think it'll take a couple of years, but yes I have my dreams too (Big 10 Championship game). We'll see.
