  1. Taking care of our employees' health and wellness is a priority. That's why we offer medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage to all our employees, regardless of their level, tenure, or position. www.aboutamazon.com Benefits We are dedicated to providing our team members and their families with affordable health, life, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits. In fact, we require all regular, full-time team members who have completed 59 days of employment to have health care coverage through either the company-sponsored health plan or through a family member’s plan. This means that 100 percent of our eligible team members have access to health care coverage. www.tysonsustainability.com Comprehensive health insurance and benefits packages are offered to employees in recognition of the value employees bring to the company. These include 401(k) and pension plans, life insurance, and vision and dental care. Many locations provide on-site medical care and preventive health screenings. Smithfieldfoods.com On a side note, Covid-19 doesn’t care if you have health insurance or not. Behavior generally dictates whether someone gets infected or doesn’t, not whether you have insurance or not.
  2. Every time Powell opens up his moronic mouth, the market drops.
  3. Cars have killed more Americans that nuclear weapons, so have knives, hammers, and baseball bats. Why are you talking about nuclear weapons. Hand guns kill way more Americans than any assault weapons, yet those really aren’t talked about much at all. We already have limits on what type of weapons are allowed to be privately owned. The actual question is do people want to change the limit and when does that change infringe on the 2A. To me, any gun control legislation being talked about needs to be geared towards reducing future crimes/deaths. If legislation proposed would not have stopped these mass shootings, or make a dent in gun crime then the legislation is pointless.
  4. I don’t think she was either. She just wanted to get her one-liner in and move along.
  5. You must be looking in the wrong places.
  6. She actually didn’t. She said “this you”. Which would get a response of “yes” And the conversation then ends. Strange nuance
  7. We will have to wait and see if the shooter was inspired by Lauren Boebert before coming to that conclusion.
  8. And here I thought we could have a reasonable conversation about what changes in gun control legislation could result in less crime. I guess not.
  9. That’s True. Maybe Mrs. Hill should say it your way instead of the “This you” snark. People may respond better.
  10. What specific gun control laws do you want in place that currently are not?
  11. While Ms. Boebert clearly isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, what is Mrs. Jemele “I hate white people” Hill trying to say? You can only have compassion if you don’t own a gun? That’s like saying you can only have compassion for car crash victims if you don’t drive a car.

  13. While eliminating 1.4 million jobs. $15 may not be the correct number
  14. By my math, this works out to $72,000 per person at 1,200 people. I stay in hotel rooms quite a bit and that seems pretty expensive for 6 months. Possibly quite a bit of waste here unless my math is off or I’m missing a key detail.
  15. I already have proven it using back of the napkin math in an earlier post. You just are not accepting it. It actually is quite the argument to make. .9% of seniors are uninsured. (Age 65 and older) CDC Data 99.1% of seniors have health insurance. (Age 65 and older) CDC Data 80% of Covid deaths are in people aged 65 and older. CDC Data 99.1% of those would have had health insurance according to the CDC I don’t see how it’s possible for 33% of American Covid-19 deaths to be related to un-insured or underinsured people. Basic math tells a different story.
  16. While true, and I appreciate the biology lesson as I will be sure to let everyone else know also , this doesn’t correlate to the discussion.
  17. I agree here, but let’s not stop with that. Let’s look at every portion of government spending and get rid of the fraud, waste, and abuse. Let’s eliminate the needless end of year spending rush that government accounts make on unused fiscal year money. They do this in order to show they used their entire budget during a fiscal year so they get the same budget plus the increase the following year. Lots of waste there too.
  18. It is your fault that you have failed to recognize that I have disassociated with hate groups or rioting groups but still post ranting nonsense like that. In my view It’s entirely possible to be a supporter of someone or a set of idea’s, while also having a disagreement with portions of what that person says, or pieces of those ideas/policies. The US isn’t a monolithic place believe it or not. It’s why a Trump social media platform can get launched, but it probably can’t survive.
  19. I just don’t see how a social media platform specifically geared for at best 1/2 the population, of which a relative few would get on board for the long term, would survive economically. I think it would have to be a loss leader for some other profitable venture if it came to be.
  20. While looking at the data, keep in mind how deaths are calculated and the PCR threshold for a positive case when comparing the data to the US. It’s why the media doesn’t use EU to dunk in the US anymore like they did last summer. https://www.ecdc.europa.eu/en/cases-2019-ncov-eueea
  21. Wrong person to be telling to look up what PartD is and in the following paragraph showed why it’s not as relevant to Covid-19 therapy as you think. Hopefully you are aware of what Medicare Part A and B are and how those portions of Medicare would deal with Covid-19 care. I didn’t really ever say Medicare covered “everything” . I was responding to your post about Medicare not covering “everything” and letting you know what Medicare didn’t cover and how those didn’t pertain to Covid-19 treatment. The numbers from your article still don’t add up.
  22. Not sure where you have been the last 6 months, but it’s pretty common knowledge around these parts that I voted for Trump. Unbelievable quite frankly, that you didn’t know that. Yes you are correct that there was a reason. Logic dictates that most posts are posted for a reason. Parler was very much less influential than its competitors and a Trump Social Media platform would most likely have as little impact as Parler did.
  23. A Trump social media platform would most likely either fail within a year or two of launching or find such a small audience that it would not be viable economically long term. Since you brought it up while trying to snark your way through a response, you must have some points of reference to show us that Facebook and Twitter had less of an impact on the events of Jan 6th than Parler? Or some post to reference when saying a Trump supporter wanted people to embrace a Trump social media platform? Or that a Trump supporter was comparing a Trump social media platform to to Parlor?
  24. And what does that story have to do with the discussion at hand. You are making it a one or the other deal and it’s not. it also has nothing to do with the Ezekiel Emmanuel article.
  25. Just so everyone is clear, majority of the pre Jan 6th riot talks happened on Facebook and Google platforms than Parler according to the FBI and court reports.
