  1. Don’t worry. We will be paying her student loans for that bulls#!t soon.
  2. There certainly is a scenario in a civil war where 10% of the population isn’t killed. By your account, we’ve been in a constant civil war ever since the two party system became main stream. Is an actual civil war going to happen after this election? NO. Will Donald Trump protest a close election loss? Most likely. Will Donald Trump win his protest of said close election loss. NOPE Will people get mad and their feels hurt about the election if it’s close? YEP Will it cause a civil war? NOPE The country has a better chance of spending its way into oblivion sooner than any civil war will happen.
  3. Yeah, that fits the profile.
  4. I would also love an explanation as to how those people get their money back if/when a persons portfolio goes down in value and suddenly they are taxed on unrealized gains that weren’t even gains after all.
  5. Usually a civil war isn’t citizens throwing daisy’s at each other Throughout history, Civil Wars are quite deadly. One would assume the 2025-202…one will be much the same. But I’m guessing you think our coming civil war will just be some states sitting around playing a modified board game of Risk to see who controls America?
  6. Who is a General Strawdog? But you bring up a good point on the Confederates. What the hell were they thinking bringing an Army when all they needed was 2,000 ragtag protestors with signs and flags.
  7. It was meant to be ridiculous as is the notion of a civil war after this election (just because we’ve had one before ). Keep that worry up though. I’m not gonna stop ya.
  8. Yea it’s absolutely moronic. and again, probably unconstitutional. @RedDenver lots of pages to sift through though for you unfortunately. I’m not taking the time to do it. This link was embedded in a Forbes article as the genesis of Biden’s unrealized gains tax proposal https://home.treasury.gov/system/files/131/General-Explanations-FY2025.pdf
  9. Yes, over 150 years ago one did happen. And at one point Kansas was a shallow sea. If that’s the standard, Guess I better get ocean flood insurance. @teachercd what does your sports book have on the odds of a 2025 Civil War? Is it worth a bet. It has happened before I’m told so might want to put some dough on it. Seriously though. America IS NOT going to have a civil war based on the 2024 election. You guys (and gals) already have enough stuff bothering you, please don’t huff and puff about that one.
  10. It’s still as Buster said absolutely fricken stupid and most likely unconstitutional.
  11. A civil war in the vein of the 1860’s or a civil war of each side barking at each other, like what we’ve had for decades upon decades? One makes sense, the other does not. I’ll let each individual choose on their own.
  12. Do you really believe a Trump win would make for an actual civil war? Or even a Trump loss?
  13. I honestly don’t believe we are taking about the same things here. People saying Biden is “senile” (he is kinda a mushbrain at this point) is equal to mobbing on a college campus and threatening Jews? I have no idea what the just walk away movement is and Trump fluffing RFK Jr (Not JFK Jr) is equatable to mobbing on college campuses and threatening Jews? Roger Stone???? What does he have to do with anything here besides coming up with tinfoil conspiracies?
  14. Genuinely asking, is there any recent (past 5-10 years) precedence for what you are saying?
  15. Certainly possible, doubtful, but possible, and you would definitely know if arrests are ever made because the names become public.
  16. How so? Do you have any theories?
  17. When the run offense revolves around the QB, these kinds of things will tend to happen in today’s game. Combine that with a porous OL and that’s how we get multiple QB’s hurt each year
  18. Thanks for sharing. Great indication of how crazy spending has become for the US Government. I think the treasury needs interest rates to come down even more than the normal citizen based on how much US debt is going to roll over into higher rates soon.
